"The idelogical socialist name, Marx, should have been a warning but did not faze me, having stayed at third world/iron curtain hotels. However, the empty lot was a definite red flag...too late. The empty inoperative cocktail lounge was very telling, but we pressed ahead and had dinner off premises...on our return our worst fears materialized as from the exterior ALL rooms were dark. Hotel is a cross between horror film setting and a poor joke of a building about to be demolished...worn carpets, ragged furniture, dusty environment...should be put out of its misery before others fall prey. Just thinking about it makes me scratch my skin."
