It was old, but we had trouble getting in, no elevator ( which we knew), the room was unbelievably small, the beds were broken down (deflated), from people sitting on the sides. I had to use a blanket rolled up to support my back enough to sleep. Shower didn’t work—sprayed all over, etc.

Hermosa Siena
La casa es muy antigua y hermosa y la atención muy amable y atenta. Deben mejorar la calefacción, estuvimos en diciembre y si no es porque nos dejaron cobijas acolchadas adicionales hubiéramos pasado frio.

Great location and service
Hotel is on the 4th floor (90 stairs up!) with no elevator, reception only open limited hours, room is small and poorly lit, walls and doors are paper-thin, and our shower screen fell apart. That said, the hotel is in a wonderful location just 2 minutes from the Campo and numerous restaurants and cafes, the rooms are clean, and Stefano was very patient with our poor Italian and was extremely helpful with local attractions, transport, and after-hours access. We enjoyed our stay and would probably return.

Pelo preço, é razoável.
Hotel bem localizado, porém muito antigo. No site não há a informação de que a recepção fica fechadas das 10:00 as 14:00, então se chegar esse horário, deverá aguardar do lado de fora. vale a pena se como eu ficar apenas um dia e também pela localização.

Convenient location close to the centre of Siena. A daunting climb up four flights of stairs and rather inconvenient to have to check in before 5.30pm. Also no coffee facilities so going out for coffee in the morning was a pain because of the long climb back to the room. But a nice clean room with good shower and nice view.

Eravamo a Siena per un weekend io e il mio ragazzo. Posizione dell'albergo comodissima per muoversi all'interno della città e visitare i maggiori luoghi turistici. Zona molto tranquilla dietro Piazza del Campo. Stanza accogliente e pulita, così com'era molto pulito anche il bagno. Confortevole e ideale per trascorrere un fine settimana. Personale molto cortese e disponibile.

Em casa em Siena
Não oferece serviços, o quarto não foi limpo nem as toalhas trocadas, o ponto positivo é a localização, ficamos bem no centro histórico de onde fizemos tudo a pé, nos sentimos em casa no quarto, que possui uma pequena sacada com mesa e cadeira, onde ficamos a noite e tomamos um bom vinho.

Small, but clean. Good for a one night stay when you aren't wanting to spend much time in your room anyway!

Convenient, but with limitations.
Explicit directions are REQUIRED. After the initial 70+ steps to the 4th+ floor [no elevator], the check-in and staff are wonderful and friendly. Minor maintenance is required [a knob here, a latch there], but otherwise a comfortable and pleasant room for the stay. My room had a view of the Bell Tower at Piazza del Campo... but, with that comes the hourly reminder of the time [NO respite ... every hour, every day]. Even though the windows are not 'modernized', they kept out most of the neighborhood noise. However, since there's only a fan [no A/C], when windows are open you can hear the raucous [no disrespect] gaffaws and laughs and cheers of the neighbors. The hotel location is superb (even if on a smaller/side street, it's shielded from all the shop noise).

好感の持てるホテルです。
スタッフは明るくフレンドリーで親切です。 ホテルは4階にあります。 エレベーターはありません。 荷物がある方は、滑車のような物がありましたので、それで運んでもらえると思います。 ベランダ付きの部屋を希望したのですが、無かったらしく、代わりに塔が見える部屋にしてくれました。満足しています。 またシエナに来たら泊まりたいと思います。

A very convenient place. Good value.
The service was mostly very helpful but it was very unfortunate that no one was present at reception when we arrived. We were let in by other guests and only a phone call after 30 minutes enabled us to get our room key. Our room was ok. It was strange that the art in it was made up of only empty picture frames. Modern art perhaps?

Mucho ruido de lo que parece ser una caldera que nos impidió dormir. para llegar à las habitaciones hay que subir 4 pisos sin ascensor. El wifi no funcionaba en la habitación. eso si el personal es muy simpático y la ubicación es ideal.

アットホームなホテル
フロントの方は何でも対応してくれ、とても親切でした。きめ細やかなサービスをしてくれ、快適に過ごすことができました。カンポ広場に近く、なにをするにも便利な場所でした。気になる点として、一階の電気錠が壊れたこと、四階まで荷物を運ぶことで、それも含めて、自分の家のような気がして、わたしには心地よかった。

very secure location
Need 3 keys to get to your room--- safer than most hotels! Gentleman at the desk knows English well, very friendly and helpful, let us leave our luggage in the room early so we could explore. Free tea in lobby. Small quiet hotel with small number of rooms on the top floor above residences. If you don't like exercise, you won't like going up stairs. Interesting towels-- more like linen. Awesomely close to Il Campo for a great price!

Decent hotel near Siena's Compo
Small hotel with rooms on 4th floor walk-up in heart of old Siena. Hard bed, small clean bathroom, no A/C. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. No breakfast service.

Great location
We received a larger room than we booked which was fine but the layout was a bit odd. The facility was fine but the bathroom smelled quite bad (I think it was the pipes from the plumbing fixtures such as the budet that was out of service- probably didn't have water run through the pipes). The service was great- very friendly. It was in an excellent location right near Campo. We would recommend it as a nice less expensive option.

Nuestra estancia fue óptima. El encargado muy amoroso. Lo malo es que el hotel NO tiene ascensor y la conexion al WiFi era muy mala. Sacando eso, todo bien!

Fab, central hotel
A fantastic, small hotel in the centre; really is a great location and although there are flights of stairs to the top and the hotel reception is closed after 8pm, the hotel receptionist (Giorgio) was so friendly and went out if his way to help - he even booked me a table at his recommended restaurant (which was delicious (Osteria Ceci)) and he even helped by giving me ideas and logistics for my onward journey. Can't recommend this hotel enough - and the location can't be beaten; really lives up to its name.

Had a lovely stay at this Hotel on our travels the only thing that was a let down was the toilet, could have been cleaner. Staff were great and really friendly.

広々とした快適な部屋で、ドライヤーなど設備も整っていました。 スタッフさんはとても親切で、部屋に忘れ物をしてしまった時も丁寧に対応してくれました。 ロケーションも、カンポ広場から徒歩5分足らずと素晴らしいです。 4階なのにエレベーターがないのが唯一のネックでしょうか。あと、ロビーに犬がいたので、(とても大人しい良い子ですが)犬嫌いの人は気をつけてください。

Good location, but not very clean
Hotel was in a great location and the owner very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately it was let down by: a foul smell in the room, presumably coming from the bathroom drains; the cleanliness of the room and bathroom (lots of hairs in the bathroom and shower cubicle and stains on the bedspread); the loud reception area (but this might have been due to the fact our room door was right off the reception area); no tea or coffee making facilities; and the lack of a lift for our heavy cases (there was a pulley lift at the top but we weren't offered use of it). Such a shame as the hotel is in a good location, the reception area decorated nicely and the owner was lovely

Is in central of Siena. Owner is nice and show u what are the attractions around here. The downside is that there is no lift so be ready to climb stairs.

Bon hôtel
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel qui se trouve dans une petite rue du centre de la vieille ville. Nous avons trouvé facilement. La chambre était grande. L'hôtel se trouve au 4eme étage sans ascenseur mais cela ne nous a pas gênés. Nous avons été accueillis par une dame très gentille. Le propriétaire que nous avons rencontré plus tard est très avenant et prend soin de ses clients. Il nous a servi un très bon petit déjeuner sucré et salé. Nous aurions aimé avoir des serviettes éponges (des serviettes sont proposées mais c'est un tissu absorbant), la douche est un peu étroite, le pommeau de douche est fixé en hauteur. La vue de cet hôtel est très jolie car il donne sur les toits. Nous avons trouvé l'hôtel calme.

Pulitissimo e personale molto cortese. Tuttavia gli interni sono estremamente antiquati: l'albergo è praticamente ricavato da un appartamento all'ultimo piano di un palazzo. La nostra camera in particolare era molto rumorosa: il letto cigolava, la ventola del bagno faceva molto rumore e il frigobar anni '90 continuava a partire. Nel complesso, necessiterebbe decisamente di qualche intervento per rinnovarlo. Tuttavia, la posizione dell'albergo è ottima e consente di godere appieno delle bellezze di Siena. Se non avete pretese di stile (e potete tirare su i vostri bagagli per le scale a mano) vi troverete bene.

Hôtel en plein centre historique.
Hôtel bien situé en plein centre historique, parking gratuit à proximité, petit déjeuner correct. Accueil agréable avec les renseignements sur les lieux à voir et de bonnes adresses de restaurants. La salle de bain est un peu petite et vétuste. Les toilettes ne fonctionnent pas toujours très bien.

la posizione è davvero ottima !!
personale gentile e disponibile la camera aveva un terrazzo davvero carino dove rilassarsi e la posizione è ottima vocinissimi alla piazza del campo e defilati dalle vie principali l' unico inconveniente sono le scale .. in realtà con quel che mangi a Siena fanno solo che bene ... il problema insorge con persone anziane o con difficoltà motorie .

Clean and friendly
This hotel has the perfect location in the heart of Siena. Clean rooms and friendly staff. As with all other Italian hotels I have stayed in, the wifi is bad. Almost no signal and sometimes no internet connection at all.

Bardzo przytulny hotelik w samym sercu miasta Siena. Odwiedzilam wiele hoteli, czesto anonimowych i "zimnych"i w porownaniu z nimi, ten ma dusze. Czysty i cieply (bylam w marcu). Piekny widok na dachy toskanskie i perelke zabytkow Sieny, Torre del Mangia. Miejsce, do ktorego bardzo chetnie sie wraca.
