This place was a dream. The pool was the best. The staff were so pleasing and willing to accommodate in anyway possible. The a/c in the room was perfect especially for hot July day. We hope to be back someday!
We had an excellent, relaxing four-night stay at Hotel Villa L’Avvenire in Siena. Our room was perfectly sized, spacious and comfortable, not small at all. The breakfasts were delicious, and we stayed four days without getting tired of the variety.
Our only issue was the seasonal HVAC change. Since we were visiting in October, the hotel had switched the system from cooling to heating because some guests were cold. The heat worked very well, almost too well for us, and we ended up a bit warm. The air conditioning had worked well when it was enabled, but the system can operate in only one mode at a time, so the hotel couldn’t switch it back. Opening the windows was an option, but after dealing with mosquitoes in Venice, we were hesitant to do that and considered it a last resort. The staff apologized and made it right at checkout, which we appreciated.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly recommend the hotel.
An authentic and beautiful late 19th-century Italian mansion, fully restored and transformed into a luxury hotel. It offers an elegant yet cozy atmosphere, nestled in the heart of the Chianti wine region—a perfect place to relax while exploring the charming surroundings.
As if that weren’t enough, the hotel’s restaurant features a Michelin-star-level menu.
Great experience. I highly recommend it.
We are a couple on a four week tour through Germany and Italy. We wanted to visit Siena, although did not want to necessarily stay right in the centre of the ancient city.
Villa L’Avvenire suited our needs perfectly. It is a beautiful old mansion, on a good sized property just outside the main city.
Access to the city was quite easy using the bus system.
The property was beautifully landscaped, and we spent time sitting in the garden. The hotel was modernized, although it definitely has the vibe of an authentic Tuscan Villa. Very classy and stylish.
We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast, and all three dinners that we were in Siena for. The food was excellent.
The element that impressed us most was the staff, who were consistently very friendly and helpful.
Only hiccough we had was the presence of some traffic noise on Saturday night. I have to admit though, my watch gave me the best sleep scores of our whole vacation during the three nights that we spent there.
When we left, we hopped on the bus on the street next to the property and had a quick 50 minute ride to Florence. Very convenient location.
If we come back to Siena, I would definitely stay at Villa L’Avvenire again.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying here. The hotel has been beautifully restored and has many modern features while keeping its historic charm. The outside landscaping is spectacular, and we really enjoyed walking around the property or having a drink outside. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and every need was taken care of. They were so nice and friendly. Also, the breakfasts were great!
For anyone driving, this location is easy to drive to and there is lots of parking. This was a nice feature compared to some hotels closer to the city centre where driving and parking could be an issue. The distance from the city centre wasn’t an issue for us and we were able to reach the walls of the old city within 15-20 minutes of walking. We enjoyed this because at night it was nice a peaceful around the hotel. I would easily come back to stay at this hotel and would recommend it to any of my friends coming to Siena.
Det här var en riktig oas i Siena.
Fantastiska rum och byggnad. Väldigt elegant och smakfullt. Pool, personal, service, mat var enastående bra! Ett mycket trevligt ställe.
