Serenity at Serenity

Great place to stay. Large spacious room and comfy large bed. Sana and his family are very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast plus we were treated to a Sri Lankan breakfast too. Sana took us on a morning excursion where we were treated to all the local wildlife, which was such an unexpected surprise. Would highly recommend stating here. Thankyou all.

the property is located at a very quiet and beautiful location surroundings are just lust green , sana the host is so humble and helpful he will make you feel like family , the breakfast is very delicious , his family stays around 50 m to your lodge so you can contact him easily . rooms are very big and clean balcaony is great for having a cup of coffee , with humming birds roaming around , besides is the big lake , overall a great deal for the price , i am happy with the deal. booked this lodge randomly but it turns out to be one of my best stays.

A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming to celebrate my birthday, so the entire family went all out to decorate the room, wished me happy birthday upon arrival and even baked a huge, delicious cake for me. This place will always be the most memorable stay of my life, and was better than any luxury Hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s basic and simple, and yet serene and ever so beautiful.

On this trip, I climbed Pidurangala Rock the day before I climbed Sigiriya Rock, and next morning I planned to summit Sigiriya Rock before sunrise. I was sent by bike to the trailhead. The room was spacious and they accommodated our requests for dinner and breakfast. On the way back, I was dropped off at the bus stop for Dambulla. It was a wonderful stay and wonderful hospitality.

Very good

Nice Villa. Huge room. This hotel is on the edge of the jungle but still provided good accommodation. Lovely Sri Lankan food. Only thing lacking was a fridge in the room. Overall very good.

Super nice people

Really cute new hotel! The staff was amazing! Due to miscommunication we arrived in another hotel, therefor we arrived late in Serenity. But it was al good and they took good care of us. They don’t have a restaurant, but the staff dien’t hesitate when we asked for some drinks! They went on a motorbike for us, late in the evening, for some drinks for us! So nice! Also, the room was amazing. Really big, nice bed, good working a/c and wifi! Really recommend this hotel!
