The first room I was given was filthy. The door handle was sticky. There were black kick marks over the walls and a film of grime over everything. Even the Ikea stickers on the bottom of the cups were dirty. The windowless room had a foul toilet-like smell, the sort of smell that suggests the air is full of microbes and lung-destroying fungal spores. I politely complained to Sami at the front desk who said, 'You booked a standard room.' I replied, 'Standard but not filthy. It still cost nearly £50' He didn't have another room, he said. I suggested I might have to write a review. He sighed and pretended to call someone. The second room was tiny and windowless, like the first, but not filthy. Sami had gone when I passed through reception again and the new man was friendlier. It's not a good hotel but on the positive side, it didn't have bed bugs. Note: the name of the hotel had changed between booking and my stay. It's now called RoomZ and doesn't even have the word 'hotel' in its name any longer. I suppose this says it all.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
No windows. Very small room
Very cheap so maybe worth the value but I would rather pay more for better accommodations. Very far from MRT
First room given to us was with bad smell (room with wet wood smell, maybe due to no window and bad ventilation system). We requested to change to another room. Staff was friendly and nice to help us with room changing. However, new room changed was with smoke smell this time. Totally cannot sleep the whole night due to bad smoking smell. Even i inserted ‘non-smoking room’ during booking. Very noisy especially when guests come back to their room and chit chating. We can hear the next door guests conversation. Bad noise proof.
