The Miramar hotel in Singapore

The staff is courteous and friendly, my room was ready ahead of time so I was able to check in an hour early, to which I was grateful after a very long flight. The location of the hotel is perfect. Easy access to the riverside where restaurants and shops can be found while taking a nice and relaxing walk.

I’ve been to this hotel times 1992, 2016 and 2025 staff are excellent and friendly and it’s so handy to Clarke Quay and bus stops. Shame it’s closing for renovations hopefully it won’t lose its friendly atmosphere.

Nice big room, bed a bit to hard for my comfort. Great value, close to a lot of dinning options. Bus stop outside hotel, short walk to Subway. Aircon control a bit fidly Might stay here again

Nice with good location.

Nice clean room. Friendly staff, moderately priced with good location. Seems that lobby and rooms have been renovated recently. However the outdoor area and pool is very old. Dinner at restaurant is extremely expensive.

Better options next door with welcoming staff

Good location and nice city view from the room, but overall a disappointing stay. The front desk staff were quite unfriendly and even asked for a deposit just to issue a key card for my wife (you're only entitled to 1 key card per double room). The room itself was clean but very basic, more like a standard motel than a full hotel

Havelock Road at River Valley Area is simply a central convenient to a lot of key urban areas in Singapore. You can't go wrong picking a hotel in this area.

This property is in a great location. Close to Boat Quay and ATM’s just a couple of minutes away. Rooms aren’t huge but are comfortable with a good shower. Only con, not enough power points.

I stayed for a few weeks in this hotel 10 years ago and had a good memory of it. Unfortunately, the hotel looks now 10 years older. Still a good value for the price with a great staff, and the area is great.

I would recommend it

We stayed as we were having home renovation and we needed a place to stay. The hotel was old but clean. It also provided us with a good night’s rest and was near to Robertson Quay. For the price we paid I thought it was a good deal.

It was very convenient because it had good transportation links and a morning walking path was nearby. The air conditioner is noisy, and the toilet and plumbing are a bit old. I think it's convenient.
