The whole staff always responded kindly in the clean lobby. The room was very compact and simple, but there was everything I needed. The size of the bathroom may feel a little small. But there is no inconvenience in the bedroom. Only one, the bed underneath the room where I was staying for the first time was full of dust.

Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt mit sehr zentraler Lage in Chinatown. Zimmer sind absolut absolut ausreichend mit ein paar kleinen Mäkeln wie fehlender Stromanschluss am Waschbecken oder sehr lauter Klimaanlage. Frühstück ist absolut ok und es gibt viel Auswahl. Das Gym hat seinen Namen nicht verdient, da nur eine Person an den Gewichten dort trainieren kann. Dafür ist der Pool aber sehr schön und groß. Im Vergleich zu den meist weitaus höheren Preisen anderer Hotels, alles deshalb empfehlenswert.

My fiancè and I stayed here from the 7th May til the 15th May. We chose just a standard queen bed room - no balcony. Hotel has some small imperfections but nothing that bothered us from enjoying our stay. ROOMS: • The rooms are small but enough for just the 2 of us. • Sink outside of the bathroom is a great idea. • The toilet seat wasn't tight and would move every time we used it - this was noted with the staff but nothing has been done. • The mattress isn't that great, it's not comfy. • Bathroom is tiny, but again, it's just to shower in and nothing else. • Fridge doesn't get really cold. • Housekeeping daily, which has been great. Coming back to fresh towels and bedding is perfect. SERVICE: • We were greeted promptly upon arrival and checking in after a delayed flight. • Staff are very friendly and helpful. Although a couple of nights we phoned for buckets of ice and they forgot about us. FACILITIES: •Pool area is perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring - big enough area. Would be nice for more seating areas or some shade over the pool when the sun is out. • Lobby is easy to access and use. • Dining area looks lovely. Not sure what food quality was like as we didn't use it. LOCATION IS PERFECT. This hotel is located in a central point to wherever you need to go, short walks to the MRT or to Chinatown shopping areas, market streets and more. I would happily stay at this hotel again in the future.

The cleaniness is very poor and the front desk people service is really bad. Asked to change the room because there is flies in the toilet and mosquito in the room. All in all very bad experience, don't book this hotel. Bad list unless you want to pay 3 star money and staying in a 1 star hotel.DONT STAY THERE!

Rooms are very small! No dressing/make up mirror! Not used to the concept of sink in the bed area for a 4 star hotel - bathroom was VERY small! Overall design of this new hotel is rooms are cramped and crammed : rooms were clearly not designed for customer comfort. Staff were very friendly! Area was super as markets / food hawker / trains were very local and doable by foot. Amazing location but hotel rating more 3 than 4 star. Ok for a basic stay but if you are looking for a more luxurious stay.. book elsewhere!

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are small, but no smaller than others we had stayed in around Europe (possibly bigger than those in Europe at 4 star hotels) and fine for the one night we were staying. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, with many eateries within walking easy distance to the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly when booking taxis from the hotel. The late 3pm check-in was the only downside as we had arrived in Singapore quite early at 6am and the room wasn't able to be made available earlier, but this is only a minor problem and not the fault of the hotels. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Singapore for one or more nights. Would be more than happy to book this for our next stay.

Some of the online reviews for this hotel make it sound awful. When it's so not. The rooms are new and clean. The shared spaces work well. The pool is lovely. Breakfast is tasty. I stay in lots of decent hotels and was concerned seeing the reviews for here online, but had a very nice stay indeed.

The rooms are way too small, the bathroom was so small, i had to go outside to chang my mind. Very clean, great area, pool area was cool. But overall the cost of the room and the size of the wash room was very disappointing

Easy check in and check out process. They also allowed us to check in early at 1pm which was a nice gesture and welcome. Very clean and modern design. Staff were always smilong and friendly. Excellent location near MRT stations - chinatown, maxwell and telok ayer. Lots of dining options (cafe, bars, hawker centers). Aside from no bidet and small size room, we had a blast. Thank you Mercure!

3/30〜ファミリーで宿泊しました。 予約出来たので大丈夫だろうと思いつつ、公式では4月オープンとあり、本当に3月からオープンしているのか不安でしたが、3/28〜プレオープンしてる状況でした。 それを知らずに来た人達は、いたるところ工事中なのでビックリしたと思います。 なぜか1階エリアガラスにヒビが入ってるところがところどころありました、、 まず部屋についてドアの前に点検の張り紙、部屋に入ると電気系統？が入ってるボックス鍵刺しっぱなし。 そして何より狭い！ 特にトイレとシャワーブースは、体格のいい人は身動き取れなくなります。 トイレットペーパーは右上頭上にあり、不便です。 トイレとシャワーブースの境目は傾斜が低く、大人2人子供1人の3人ですが排水口も2日目で詰まってきて、トイレエリアに水漏れしないか心配でした。 排水口掃除を頼むとしてくれましたが、とても簡易な作りで、蓋を戻さず帰られました。 クローゼットはなく、オープンエリアに短めなハンガーラックが設置されています。 今回荷物も多くなかったので特に不便は感じませんでしたが、この部屋に子連れオッケーはちょっと厳しいです。 プールはとても広く温水で快適でした。 が、出てから浴びれるシャワーは冷たいシャワーしかなく、着替える場所はありません。 聞いたら外エリアにあるトイレで着替えてと言われましたが、女性は特に着替えるのは狭くて難しいです。 男性や子供は皆外で隠しながら着替えてました。 今後ホテル内水着でうろつく人が出ることが予想されます。 エレベーターには階数ボタンがなく、部屋のカードをかざして自分の階もしくは2階のレストランプールエリア、1階ロビーまでしか行けません。 が、なぜか毎日何階かに1回は19階まで連れて行かれました。 19階はまだ工事中で降りるにもビニールがかかっており、でも降りないと階数ボタンがないので下れず、ドキドキでした。 おかげで毎日19階が出来上がっていく様子を知れましたwww 今回荷物も多くなくほぼ外に出ていたのでいろいろな不具合は笑って済ませられましたが、快適に過ごしたい人には今のところ向かないなと思います。

Location is great. It is walking distance to Lau Pasat and even to Marina Bay if you dont mind walking on a hot humid day. The breakfast was excellent and one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The helpfulness and service of the staff was topnotch, especially Zuo Xiang at reception who was very professional and very customer service oriented. Only con is the size of room and toilet which are definitely small.
