“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

“Tamas and his family were amazing hosts. I was travelling solo and arrived on Easter Sunday. When I go to the train station and nearby town, everything was closed. The host arranged for a taxi to pick me up, they drove me to and from dinner so I didn’t have to walk in the rain and then they drove me to see the Lascaux IV cave.
