"Wow! We loved this hotel! The location, the size of the room, the friendliness of the staff, the ambiance and vibe! The lobby is a thriving epicenter abuzz with local, young, professional, remote workers on their laptops and ear buds taking up almost all the couches, chairs and tables in the extra large space. Then come end of the workday, the bar was abuzz with the young professionals enjoying their pints together. It made for a fun local (not touristy) atmosphere! The staff were really helpful too! And the room was very spacious."

"In the city again as guests this time at the BBC Young Writers Awards, we stayed again at The President as it is in such a fabulous location in Bloomsbury and so close to St Pancras, Euston, Russell Square and Holborn. Room was immaculate and clean with a view over Russell Square gardens. Lucky enough to receive a guest's complimentary breakfast, and what a faubulous affair that was too! Cooked items, pastries, cereals, breads, fruit - it was amazing! The staff are lovely, friendly and professional, and they left a box of vegan fruit jellies for us, which were really tasty and a lovely variation addition to the already impressive hospitality tray. Well done The President, we definitely look forward to staying with you again soon!"

One of the attractions for me when booking the hotel was the photo of a bar overlooking the London eye etc however that particular bar was only available to executive membership travelers."

"What a stunning hotel. It is beautiful and the rooms, for London, are perfect. We were aware the hotel has only opened in the last 5 weeks and it clearly has a bit of teething issues. I still can't knock the surroundings and potential. Few minor issues - on check-in we were given zero information (where breakfast was/where our room was!) which seemed odd (we chased another member of staff to find out). Secondly - house keeping didn't change the dirty coffee cups, restock teabags/coffee/biscuits or replace the water. When reception were informed approximately an hour later we were given more coffee pods and water but no fresh cups/biscuits. Fairly minor but details that can easily be fixed. Breakfast each morning allowed us one dish from the menu. Each morning (3 in total) we waited in excess of 20-30 minutes for our breakfast and it was always cold. The first morning I sent our eggs back because I can't do cold eggs but even after the waitress on day three said 'I'll make sure your eggs are hot' they came out cold (fridge cold). Again sounds like moaning but they are little details that are easily fixed and I suspect is down to efficiency in the kitchen. I still would go back to this hotel and do hope to in the future but the early days of staff settling need to be expected. Absolutely fabulous location and the evening food in the bar was good."

"It depends on which room you get. I stayed at Z in Holborn/London twice in the space of a week during a business trip, and booked the same type of room each time. The location is excellent, right on a major street and just a few feet from the Holborn tube station. Within easy reach are restaurants, coffee shops, food stores, etc. as well as Lincolns Inn Fields, a lovely park. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel serves food and coffee (which I did not try). My first room was just a tiny narrow hall next to a small, but adequate glassed in bathroom, leading to a large bed that was surrounded on three sides by walls. I barely had room for my suitcase in the hall. It was soundproof though. My second one was much larger with the same bathroom, but enough room to move around and plenty of room for my suitcase. It was also soundproof."
