โI can't say enough about this place. Our stay was exceptional and revitalizing; If you're looking for quiet and solitude this is the place to go. You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there. If you want a quiet place to go to after a day exploring the Borderlands in Scotland; this is the...
โThere was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldnโt open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who canโt do stairs.โ
โHut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!โ
โDryburgh Abbey hotel was wonderful. Check-in was with a person which was nice to experience seeing as many places are now contactless. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the dining areas lovely.โ
โAbsolute pleasure to stay here, staff are welcoming and friendly, the service is flawless. The room was clean, spacious and the bed is so comfortable.โ
โConsidering the age of the building, our room was excellent, as was our breakfast. Thank you to our lovely hosts (hope the wdding went well) for a very enjoyable stay.โ
โVery friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Bar was great for a few drinks and the town is great with friendly people everywhere. Big bonus was Vale of Leithen won :-)โ
"The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, itโs a very good place to stay in Edinburgh.
