"We stayed at the Foss hotel, Glacier Lagoon for two nights because it's location is perfect for glacier hikes and visiting the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. The hotel is smart and clean and seems to have good green credentials. The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner) although the breakfast bar did get exceptionally crowded on the one morning. Our room had a beautiful view out towards the sea. It was very comfortable but did get excessively hot as we were staying there in unusually warm weather and there were no controls to cool the room. The small window only provided relief when we opened the door into the corridor to allow the hot air to blow through. next to the hotel is a beautiful waterfall which is well work the 5 minute stroll to admire."

"Wonderful hotel space, but has a kitchenet, more like an apartment as they call themselves. Grocery on the first floor. Plenty of street parking. Centrally located for shopping street and most sites. East walls to many location."
