“I was shocked at how fully packed the sunbeds are on the very narrow beach in front of the hotel are and very expensive to rent. I had chosen this hotel for being on the beach but didn’t want to use it and at the end of the beach it was all stones and hardly any natural shade. The pool is right next to the main road with a wall in between so not relaxing and with no view of the beach. My standard room with side ocean view was small and not practical. “Overcrowded pool area was the biggest disappointment - there is nowhere near enough space to accommodate the number guests they have - it is crying out for an extension to the decking area around the pool and hence the number of sun beds could be increased from the handful they now have.”

“Great spot very central. Quite a few stairs leading up to reception so must be fit! Very spacious apartment and terrace. Beautiful Views! They were very kind to give us an extended check out. Only issue was no coffee sachets or tea bags or milk in the apartment on arrival and breakfast was completely different to what we ordered but perfectly ok. Also bathroom sink not draining properly?”

“Cute village. Swimming pool area is cute and relaxing. Bus stop is nearby. the Village is on the hill so has good view but need to walk up all the way and many stairs. in the case ur knee is not strong, check the room location in advance with to hotel. During the stay, hot water was not stable nor controllable so I and my friend both got scald bc very hot water comes out all of sudden almost every 2mins. It was repeating. ”

“A lovely hotel with a very good sea view from our room. The staff were very efficient, helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again despite it being a big hill to walk up to the hotel from the town, we got used to it so no problem for our stay.”

“Cons: ~ Quite far from the port and Skiathos town. ~Very exhausting to walk uphill. ~Wasn’t that clean :( Pros: ~The room was beautiful and the view was amazing. ~There’s AC ~Pool ~Staff was amazing ~They have a little bar/coffee bar beside the pool. Thank you for having us Blue Horizon. ”
