We had a great stay! The hotel was very clean and conveniently located in Sliema, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. Overall, it offers really good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel is nicely refurbished and very clean. Despite being on the first floor and overlooking the street our room was peaceful and comfortable. We appreciated the Nespresso machine, microwave and fridge. Convenient location both for Sliema coast and St Julian’s bay. Like most hotels, there are too many cushions on the bed.

This is a beautiful hotel nestled away from, but within walking distance of the main harbour area. I had a very pleasurable time here for 4 nights as a solo traveller. The hotel is in pristine condition, the room was spacious with a beautiful covered balcony area over the street, a kitchenette area is provided with everything needed for self-catering, including an ample sized fridge with mini bar. The bathroom and shower facilities were excellent. I found the room extra quite even though it was overlooking a main street. Air conditioner was good; fan was only noticeable but not loud when tv or radio was off. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom And bathroom were cleaned to a spotless condition daily, a special thanks to the cleaning staff. A pin number is provided rather than a key for main and room access, I found this ideal for checking in. It is a short downhill walk to the main harbour and ferry area, but a bit of a climb back up, be warned. There are 2 bus stops steps away from the hotel anyway, with mini markets and restaurants nearby also. Excellent hub to tour Malta would highly recommended.

It’s a nice hotel. Away from the seafront so quiet. We didn’t see many staff so can’t comment. Our room was very clean and serviced everyday. One problem we noticed other guests don’t shut the front door properly. Almost every time we came back the main door was unlocked.

Lovely hotel with modern and clean facilities. We really enjoyed our stay at the Marea Boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very comfortable and peaceful, tucked away from the noisier harbourside area of Sliema. The hotel was conveniently located, a short walk from most public transport.

Overall the accommodation was ok. Very basic in terms of amenities but we were out most the time so wasn’t an issue for us. We arrived earlier than check in and was able to leave our luggage but we had to leave them in an unlocked cupboard under the stairs. When we got there it was only our luggage in there but when we collected the luggage after returning, there were multiple guests bags in the same unlocked cupboard. Nothing was taken from our bags but I think the luggage should be stored in a safer place. The room appeared to be clean but both myself and my partner got bed bug bites from staying here. We originally thought they were mosquito bites but they’ve been confirmed as bed bug bites. On that basis I would not book to stay here again.

Unser Zimmer war groß, Betten waren gut, ein kleiner Tisch und zwei Stühle fehlen noch. Sliema ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die meisten Aktivitäten auf Malta.

Das Hotel liegt in einer für den Ort typischen Umgebung, das ist gut. Allerdings muss man jeweils ein gutes Stück zu Fuß zurücklegen (800 m bis 1,x km) um zu netten Restaurants zu kommen. Es gibt kaum Parkplätze in der Umgebung, sehr enge Strässchen, zumeist Einbahnverkehr. Die Zimmer selbst sind tip-top, ich denke, ganz neu und super ausgestattet. Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kapselmaschine, Spülbecken, Tees, Kaffeekapseln. Auch im Bad alles super. Grosse Dusche mit Handbrause und Regenduschen aus der ordentlich Wasser kommt. Bel. Kosmetikspiegel, Föhn, Duschmittel und Körperlotion vorhanden. An dem komfortablen Boxspringbett gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen.
