Never stay here as a singleton. Thousands of dollars worst place I have ever stayed. I realise guests are an inconvenience but they do pay for a decent experience

Loved the downstairs social area. Our double room was very small & could have had better heating. Staff were great.

Myself and the grandchildren had a great time. Very accomodating staff and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing!! Lovely warm comfortable rooms and the Community areas had everything we needed. We will certainly return.. thank you for making our short stay an enjoyable one.

The owners and staff were fantastic, went above and beyond to be pleasant and very accommodating, and made us very welcome . Food was fabulous and very fresh, with added treats left out for morning and afternoon tea. Would definitely recommend to all 😊

Great stay
An amazing stay on snow at the Swagman Chalet. The hosts were fantastic as were all staff. Food was great!! Lots of snacks provided if you're not out on the snow. Plenty of lounge area to relax and have some fun. Other people in the chalet were great. Everyone got along well. Thanks for the stay!!

A warm welcoming lodge
Our family found the lodge welcoming, warm and accomodating. The two lounges were spacious with plenty of activities for the kids. The bar was great. Getting a lift to or from the Ski tube was no trouble.

Very Good
It was a great experience except that valet option that they have given. According to that option we organized with Mike to pick us up from Jindabyne to Perisher on Saturday around 1 pm. We were late about 30 minutes due to our first trip to Jindabyne from Canberra. Then he got really angry and extremely rejected to pick us up. Since then we tried so many times to contact him as we were really helpless. After we got information about Jindabyne Visitors' Information Center by one of neighbor and the Centre supported to contact Jhon Graham.Thanks to him we arrived safely to Perisher and returned next day.He is an amazing person with a great heart.

John and Silke were ever so helpful in shuttling us from the Skitube to the chalet when we arrived and to the ski lifts the next day. The food provided was so good, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast which really energised us for a day of skiing! We really appreciated them providing us breakfast even when we woke late (the cold made us really sleepy!) There's also a lounge in the upper floor with a wide range of DVDs to enjoy - we chilled out there on the first night. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets which were a nice touch. Toilet was slightly small but with sufficient space to shower comfortably. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience!

Value for money
Location and amentites as described. Great service collecting and dropping of to the ski area. Breakfast and dinner were great. Nice and relaxed feel to the lodge.

Swagman is Great
Central location for lift access. Lodge has over snow transport available at call. The hosts are superb and cater for all needs. Easy ski down to the lifts of a morning and a fitness process in the afternoons to stretch the legs after a good days skiing. We will be there next seasons with the grandkids and family. First time visit to the Swagman

Overall our stay at swagmans was a pleasant one. The customer service was fantastic, the food was fantastic and the convienience of the lodge being so close to Perisher ski resort was priceless

Great place!
At first I thought it's a little far from the lifts but it really does not matter. The lodge itself is extremely well appointed, has the loveliest staff and is overall a lovely place to be. Food was great, beds were great, bathroom was clean, excellent shower pressure. Cannot fault this place at all, highly recommended.

Great lounge, bar and dining room all with lovely views. Cheese and biscuits and various savouries to welcome us off the slope along with a well stocked bar before dinner and great breakfasts to send us off to the slopes. John and Silke were perfect hosts. Whilst not directly on the slopes John was always on call for the 3 minute shuttle. Thank you to John and Silke for helping us have a perfect weekend along with our two grown up boys. thoroughly recommended.

Swag time at the Swagman Chalet
the lodging did come with breakfast and dinner; both were fantastic! the staff was very friendly and always accommodating when it came to shuttling back and forth to the Ski area drop-off and the lodge.

Great family lodge
What an experience, we were picked up by snow buggy, our kids loved this. Fantastic meals, spacious lodge with 2 public living areas, games room was a bonus. We were able to stay in one family room, 7 of us, comfortably. Great people, right from where we were picked up by the buggy. We'll be staying there again!

Easy location
Friendly atmosphere and in a good location. We had a great stay. All comforts provided. Meals filling and delicious. Great TV screen to watch Collingwood and a nice atmosphere for guests to socialise.

On snow...
Excellent stay on snow. Friendly staff who looked after all of our needs. Breakfast and dinner included was great. Excellent not to have to travel down the mountain after a long day on the slopes!

taxi to and from the snow
They catered for strict dietary requirement at the last moment (no added salt/ very low salt diet). Other places have claimed to have looked after the requirement but inadvertently added high salt foods as part of the ingredients.

great location, good food, lovely hosts.
We had a great stay, hosts are very accommodating. Having two meals a day provided made it easy to ski all day and relax at night. Good for families, or couples. all the facilities you need, drying room, ski racks, luggage room and skidoo on call to take you up and down to the main ski lifts.

Great place to stay
We loved our stay at Swagman. We are a family of 5. Initially we booked a family room. Then Silke contacted me to offer us two rooms instead because of a booking error in the system. So we got a great bargain from the start. When we arrived here, we instantly felt the friendliness of the owners and the staff, and the warmth and comfortableness of the place. The chalet is tastefully designed and decorated in a way to make you feel like at a home away from home. The rooms are small but very clean very well-arranged with everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. The meals are wonderful. The location is like on-snow with John's free 'on-call' transfer service to and from ski field. When we were not skiing, we walked to or from the slopes during the day and at night, and the scenery along the way was very beautiful. Thanks to you all at Swagman. We'd love to stay here again!

One night, last minute snow trip. Staff we're lovely. Would not stay again due to the location, even though its on the snow field, it is a burden to get to & from Perisher ski tube.

Cosy Chalet close to Perisher
The staff and owners of the Chalet were attentive and accommodating. The food was a highlight of the stay and they easily catered for gluten and dairy free needs without compromising on taste. The room was basic yet comfortable and there is a need to bring your own entertainment or make use of the common area for nighttime amusement.

Great place, something out of the ordinary.
We loved it!! People were lovely. I didnt no what to expect as its like a shared accommodation, but the food was great and the facilities where awesome!! Highly recommend and will stay there again.
