“This hotel was an absolute oasis on the Camino - although it was freezing cold outside, the room was toasty warm (and the radiator was perfect for drying out cold, wet hiking gear). The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. It's a few minutes from the center of town, so much quieter than other places - and best of all, breakfast was way above average. I especially enjoyed their fresh-squeezed orange juice. A real gem of an inn!”

“As a stop on a father son Camiño Ingles, I was concerned about the location as it would require a taxi to go there and back. I didn’t need to worry. The taxi ride from Cafe Avelina was easy and the location was heavenly. The feel of the building, the family-like friendliness of the staff, and the excellent food. I have not even talking about the view overlooking a forest down onto a stream. This is where you want to stay. Highly recommended!!! This was exceptional!”
