This guesthouse is just gorgeous. We rented a room with private bathroom. I was amazed at the cleanliness of not only our room, but the common areas and shred bathrooms.
The location is ideal, making it possible to walk everywhere.
I would definitely stay here again.
Location is excellent. Very close to Vitosha Blvd where there are so many restaurants and cafes. Also walking distance to many major attractions in the city.
Room is very clean and cute. There is a shared kitchen with free snacks, coffee and tea. Great experience. Only downside is the presence of stray cats around the property. Otherwise, perfect. Highly recommended.
The guesthouse was terrific and the hostess so friendly and attentive. The location super near to shopping and sights. I will absolutely recommend it and if I am going to Sofia again I would rather stay here than in an expensive 5 -star hotel.
The guesthouse has a good vibe: a shared kitchen with lots of appliances, snacks and overall lovely decorated, Everything kept clean. Spacious room, nice bathroom with shower. Friendly and helpful staff and it's in the middle of Sofia, walking distance to Vitosha Blvd and lots of cool restaurants and bars and close to the metro station.
We enjoyed our stay at 5 Vintage and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Sofia. The staff were incredibly welcoming and lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable with some nice touches in the shared kitchen. We were right in the center of town which made getting around really easy. Great place to stay if you want to explore Sofia.
The hotel is like family house with a lot of vibes from the old days, mixed with the convenience of living at the right in the heart of Sofia in the now days. Perfect location and very friendly and attentive staff. I really enjoyed staying there and definitely I will return.

Excellent cozy and homey accommodation conveniently located in the heart of Sofia close to everything. I stayed for almost 3 weeks and there were no issues of any kind. Staff is extremely responsive and welcoming. The property is maintained very well and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
The location was great and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are small, but adequate. Staff is there between about 10 and 7 so if you’re out early for the day, there is no one there to answer any questions or help out. When the staff are there they were very helpful. Really my only complaint is that the description says that there is “self-serve laundry” on site. In fact, the laundry must be done by a staff member (so can only be started when they arrive, and must be completed by 7) and is quite expensive at 10€ per load. We had booked this spot at the very middle of our trip because we expected to be able to do our laundry efficiently and cheaply. The description of the services available should be updated to reflect the reality so expectations are managed.
Smooth check-in, free bottled water, capsule coffee, tea and snacks. Great location, close to restaurants and supermarket.
Sound insulation is not good but acceptable.
Beautiful small hotel. I had a small 1 person room, but there is a large kitchen / living space where you can sit. You can use all the kitchen utensils you need. There’s coffee, tea and snacks for free. Location is also great. Would definitely recommend it!
Nice area. Bed and pillows comfortable. Reception land cleaning ladies very kind and polite. everything well thought and placed accordingly.complimentary coffee and snacks are a great gesture! Electric heating comfortable and sufficient. Albena does a great job.
The property was clean and comfortable and centrally located in Sofia, yet on a quiet side street. Kitchen facilities were available for use and packaged snacks were provided. The reception host was friendly and allowed me to store my bags after I'd checked out. The wifi was not strong in the room.
What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at 5 Vintage Guest House. From the warm reception and orientation tour to the charming decor. This place makes you feel at home. The helpfulness of each and every staff member I encountered was outstanding. The quaint atmosphere, especially the shared communal kitchen with complimentary snacks and coffee and tea makes you feel like your coming home to grandmas house. I can’t praise the cleanliness of the entire establishment especially the rooms enough. The location is absolutely perfect within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the Christmas market. The main walking boulevard is one minute away yet the guest house is on a quiet side street. Thank you to all staff for an absolutely amazing stay. Other establishments should learn from you!
This is a great place to stay in Sofia!
For me, the location was perfect in a super central area in a neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, cafés and independent shops. A main high street for chain stores and restaurants was just a couple minutes walk away too.
From here I managed to walk around most of the city for what I wanted to see.
The room was lovely, very cute, spacious and was really clean. Plus a powerful shower and nice towels and hair dryer provided.
The staff were lovely and helpful too.
The kitchenette had all amenities - a microwave, hob, fridge, even a little oven. Tea and coffee were provided with a kettle to make whenever you fancied.
Would stay here again for sure!
Super friendly and helpful lady on reception. Our room was in the front building with 2 others, and our own shared kitchen which was so well appointed, we could easily have cooked in there.
Superb little touches in the kitchen such as free coffee pods, tea, snacks and chocolate croissants for breakfast.
The room itself was spotless, and the bathroom creatively laid out, cracking shower and both decorated to a really high standard.
I have stayed in hotels that charge 3 times this which have not been of such good quality.
There is a small car park about 200 yards before you reach the hotel which is ideally located but a space is not guaranteed (I think it was about 18lv for 24 hours)
I couldn't figure out if this was a 'hostel' or a 'hotel' when booking, but it is more of a hostel type place in that there are common areas. I had a single room (looked just like the one picture with the black bathroom with license plates). Everything appeared to be clean and in good condition. Both the mattress and the pillow could use an upgrade, in that neither one was very firm/fluffy. They were okay, but more on the 'hostel' side than a 'hotel' type.
As someone else mentioned, the kitchen is very narrow so if more than one (maybe two) people are in there at once it would be cramped. No one was ever in there at the same time as me so it was fine. Plenty of kitchen things to cook and eat on site.
Very close to all the main attractions. Check-in and Check-out were easy.
I think there is more than one building. Some of the phones on the website must the the other building. I was in the gray building which had about 3-4 rooms, a kitchen (not the white one pictured here) and dining room. They have a door marked laundry but I don't know if that was available to guests. They also had free snacks (sweets) if you need a little pick me up along the way. Coffee and tea is also free. Soap and shampoo provided in room. (Excuse my mess in the bedroom, should have moved that before the photo but oh well.)
Such a great place, I wish we had more than 1 night there. Super friendly staff, immaculately clean, nice common area with free snacks, coffee and tea.
The vintage decor is super cute, and the area is very walkable to lots of restaurants, shops, metro etc. Highly recommended!
