We stayed here for 4 nights. It was such a lovely hotel. So comfortable, large spacious room. And comfortable beds. It was cleaned daily. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Very professional. The location was brilliant, right in the city centre. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby as well as the main town centre. Everything is as walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located in teh center of Sofia. The gym is ok, a little small for me, I felt a little claustrophobic. The sauna is good. The only ting I did not like - the car parking charges unexpected (20 euro per day), When I was booking the hotel there was no info about it.

Very nice hotel but beware of houskeeping

Very cool adn cpmfortable boutique hotel in a an excellent downtown location. Amazing rooftoop restaurant and bar with some of teh best views in town and an excellent cusine. I would have given the full marks for service except for teh fact that once again a cleaning lady from housekeeping stormed into teh room catching me in my birthday suit, seems to be a common theam in many hotels.

Sense hotel Sofia, while its location is undeniably convenient—just a short walk from many of the city’s major attractions—the overall experience didn’t quite meet my expectations. The proximity to key sites made it easy to explore without needing transportation, which was a definite plus. However, I was disappointed with the room and service standards. The room felt a bit outdated and lacked the comfort I was hoping for. Additionally, the service seemed somewhat inattentive, and certain requests took longer to fulfill than expected. While the location is fantastic for tourists, I believe there’s room for improvement in terms of the hotel’s accommodation and service quality.

Book another hotel in Sofia for this price class!

Room is outdated, bathroom to small and not good maintained, for this price level there are so many better places in Sofia. Especially the service on the rooftop is from the one you never want to come back even if they offer you free food and drinks. We just wanted to have a drink (and leave within one hour) and even as hotel guests we where not allowed to get a table with nice view because that was all reserved, during our complete stay there ALL window tables staid empty, I even made pictures from this since this is so ridiculous, every good hotel which I know gives priority or value to his hotel guests, this one is doing to opposite, we gave even a second chance the next day and it was even worse so never ever we will go back here. The one and only good thing about this place is the Juri restaurant downstairs, they have very good and friendly staff and the food and atmosphere is great, they should definitely consider going to another location since this hotel and surrounding doesn’t fit their class.

Weird impressions

It has been a weird experience. On one hand this is considered to be a unique-style hotel, but certain details were not to my taste. Positives: the breakfast room on the 9th floor - excellent views, ok food and service. The Jintu Asian restaurant on the ground floor - top notch. The pool and sauna area - ok, but the steam sauna was steamless. Negatives: my room was on the 1st floor among the conference rooms. Street view was nothing to enjoy. Door-type window blinds was the most strange thing I’ve ever seen. The shower door leaked water out onto the bathroom floor and I always had to use a big towel to collect it. The water pressure is simply to high. The most dissapointing was that the room didn’t look modern - had no USB pirts, chargibg stations and TV was difficult to manage with just a few programs really working. My conclusion - not worth its high price.

Beautiful hotel, great area, service needs work

This hotel was a great value because it was beautiful and in a great location. My room was huge and luxurious. Breakfast was really good if relatively limited choices. My only complaint was the service. They were pleasant at check-in, but they gave me a room on the 8th floor. When I mentioned that all the reviews said not to get a room on an upper floor because the noise from the rooftop bar, they accommodated me, but identified me as “noise-sensitive”. Bigger problem was that reception said I would not need a reservation for the rooftop bar after 11:00 PM (which admittedly I though was odd for a Saturday night if it was such a local hotspot). So I went to dinner, and when I came back around midnight, I went up to the bar and it was heaving, of course. The hostess was borderline rude, and had me sit at a table outside of the main bar area. After waiting for 10 minutes with no further attention, I went back up to the hostess station and asked if I could order a drink, and she begrudgingly took my order and then delivered the drink a couple minutes later. As I was finishing my cocktail and getting ready to leave, she came up and told me they had a place at the bar for me and when I declined, she seemed a little annoyed with me. Check out was also a little clunky, because even with a deposit on file, which more than covered my charges, they ran another charge on my credit card, which made me a little uneasy and honestly, the explanation was not very clear.

Some furnishings and surfaces in the room need to be updated (e.g., stained/old towels, scratched floors and walls). The shower doesn’t have an actual fixed shower head, just a handheld one which made showering really difficult. Rooms were noisy at night — even on a Monday night — you could hear talking and furniture moving and walking in the next room. My room was also by a service elevator which made the situation much worse. But the staff were so lovely and helped me as much as they could.
