"This was an amazing hotel with some of the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The hotel on its own is in a great location, well maintained, and clean rooms. The food is outstanding (breakfast and dinner) and is always busy but the staff handle it beautifully and the business does not effect the attention you'll receive. We absolutely loved staying here. "Everything was superb and we stayed in the Jagerhaus but everywhere was stunning. Breakfast was amazing. Parking was separate and plentiful. Walking to the castles were a breeze but know you have to climb up the mountain side or take a horse carriage. Spa was fantastic with pool sauna massage outdoor area. So much more."

"Clean room and friendly staff. One side of the hotel has a gorgeous view of Neuschwanstein. A short drive to Hohenschwangau to visit the castles and overlook. The breakfast is definitely European/ German style but you can get cooked to order eggs. Cute playground and garden swing."

"Please check your Expedia messages before you arrive.Mr. Shryger the owner of the hotel had to ride to come after 8 pm to meet me to let me in the hotel since there is no receptionist at the hotel after 6 pm. The hotel doors are secured and no way to get in unless you read the message from Mr. Shryger on how to access the hotel doors. The rooms are super clean and renovated with nice showers and the breakfast is super awesome but you have to psy 15 euros for it which is a reasonable price. The hotel is family owned not a chain owned, very quiet rooms but still we can hear next door or the people in the hall way. Mr. Shryger the hotel owner is very accommodating but was kind of not happy when i didn't read the 4 messages he sent on how to get into the hotel after 6 pm and he had to come to let me i on his day off. Sorry Mr. Shryger, Expedia never inform us there are messages and thank you for all your effort. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. "
