โIt is a very quiet and pleasant place to stay even though it is near the most famous german castel, Neuschwanstein Castle. Restaurant is also excellent and all people are well trained.
It's location is good to visit other tourist attractions in fussen such Linderhof, Ettal abby ,wieskirche....

โExceptional stay with Bert and Wendy whom we now know very well since last 2 years. They are always very courteous, helpful and hospitable, and their place is a paradise to stay in Austria in either Winter or Summer. โCheck in was seamless. We stayed in the Dependance 2 which is very new. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was that they donโt have air conditioning or fans. Most times of the year this is fine as you can open the windows to let in the fresh mountain air, but we were there over a heat wave and it felt pretty warm at night.
Buffet breakfast is included and there are lots of options.
The location could not be better. It is surrounded by the mountains. You can walk to 3 castle...

โThe breakfast was the best! The dining room overlooks the beautiful lake and mountains and the food is really tasty. The room we got was a bit tucked in the back and had no view. It was very large and the beds were comfortable enough. It did get quite cold and we had no ability to adjust the heating. Note that there is no parking included with the hotel, there is only street parking and it is only free after 6 PM. โ

There is an open-air restaurant with a sunshade in front of the hotel, so I had a hard time finding the hotel. The sunshade covers the hotel name. I booked a room with two single beds, but there was no elevator, so it was inconvenient to carry my suitcase upstairs. The room was so small that it was very inconvenient to put two suitcases on the floor. The bathroom was relatively spacious and comfortable compared to the size of the room.
