"The hotel was exceptionally clean and truly spotless throughout our stay. Although the property is a bit older, it remains in excellent, well-maintained condition. The rooms were awesome, featuring incredibly comfortable beds and pristine linens. The bathrooms were equally immaculate, highlighted by fantastic water pressure in the shower.
The hotel staff was absolutely awesome, delivering excellent, polite, and deeply accommodating service throughout our entire stay. Every team member was incredibly kind and went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. In a truly wonderful gesture, I happened to mention it was my wife’s birthday, and they surprised us by delivering a beautiful birthday cake to our room to help us celebrate her special day.
The hotel boasts an exceptional location nestled beautifully on a hillside, making us feel like we were immersed right in the middle of the jungle. Despite the lush, secluded setting, we enjoyed fantastic access to a stunning black sand beachfront. The beach featured a wonderful tidal pool area where the kids had a blast exploring and spotting fish and various types of crabs. Another major highlight was the incredible outdoor pool, which was built with a boulder wall directly into the cliffside. The property even features a fascinating cave to explore; it fills up during high tide but empties out at low tide, allowing us an awesome opportunity to walk inside and see the bats."
"Overall, this is a nice place to stay - beautiful grounds, pools, our room was very clean, good food. Staff were friendly and attentive (every where)!
My only suggestion would be to add some fans at the bottom part of the Buffet, for some good air circulation as it can get pretty hot in there and although some breeze from the sea gets in, it is not sufficient."
"This resort was absolutely incredible. The hotel grounds are well kept and provide so much in terms of wellness. The views and offerings are great. The drinks and food are good for the most part. The only critique is that many of the servers in the general Resturant are not very attentive. The omakase was phenomenal though! But must be prepaid and books quickly. The beachfront room is breathtaking. The hotel is a bit of a commute from the airport and other attractions. But the commute isn’t very difficult if you’re renting a car."
"I Loved this place! Nestled deep in the mountains with beautiful views of the volcano. The restaurant there has great food. We did the hike offered though the hotel to the Santa Ana volcano and I loved it because it was private and they go at your pace. If you come to El Salvador, this is a must!"
"I LOVED THIS PLACE. I’m so glad I found this place and chose to stay here. It’s minutes to the beach and it’s so safe to walk around at night. I’m a solo female traveler and there was never a moment I felt unsafe. I booked the room with hot water and honestly, I could’ve been ok without because I used the outdoor bamboo shower to rinse off the sand and the water felt amazing. The property is so cute ! The breakfast was delicious. They have a bar and restaurant and the food is great if you choose to have a night cap there, if not, plenty of great restaurants steps away. I used the pool and it was so cute. There’s a convenient store couple doors down for water and drinks. They close the gate at night so it’s secured. The staff were all so friendly and happy ! I’m going to come back and stay here again. Thank you staff !"
