There is not an airport shuttle, though the site says there is. Manage your expectations, it’s a cheap place to stay. Good enough for one night before a continuation flight, but not good to visit the city from.

The bed to sleep in wss fine and the breakfast slso offer some choices. The absolute downside of this hotel is the Karaoke bar on the top floor. It was so incredibly loud that we couldn't sleep until 2.a.m. minimum. The staff didn't really help us with this. So no recommendation.

i think you need to read past reviews with a grain of salt. Similar to some Amazon reviewers, there are folks that just can't be satisfied. If you've ever stayed at a Motel 6 in the US, this place is leaps and bounds better. Sure, it lacks amenities, like a shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap. And if you demand a western-style breakfast, get over it - your'e traveling....in Indonesia...and it's free. If you're a budget traveler, this place rocks

Hotel horrible. Trés sale.. Nous avons demander a changer notre premiere chambre car ça depassait la limite du supportable, puis deuxième chambre encore pire.... on a meme pas oser s'asseoir sur le lit nous sommes repartis direct et avons sejourner dans un autre hotel a nos frais quitte a perdre cette nuit d'hotel...il n"y a qu'un seul hotel a sorong tres bien cest le aston.

The building and facilities are "tired" but the room is perfectly acceptable for Sorong standards and short stays en route to/from Raja Ampat. The department stores nearby make it convenient to get anything you need in a western-style environment.
