친절하고깔끔함 타쏘광장에서 꽤걸어야한다는게흠이지만 조용하고 바다뷰가좋음 옥상수영장과 테라스가괜찮음 침대에서개미가너무많이나와서 로비에말했더니 즉시와서 시트갈아주고 미안하다고함. 객실도깔끔하고.서비스와친절은 최고이나 개미는어쩔수없는거같음

The whole experience was fantastic! The hotel is lovely, the staff are amazing. Erica & the bell hop were extremely helpful & friendly. The hotel is close walking distance to everything we wanted to see & do. One suggestion I have is to keep the pools opened later at night. Thank you for everything. We will return!

The front desk service was terrible! We just came from Rome, very tired after 6 hour trip and the clerk made us to stay in the hall for half an hour!!! Also, our son was staying in the different hotel with the football team. When he stopped by to see us, the concierge did not allow him to go on elevator to visit our room??? The excuse given - he is not a guest of hotel. In my traveling to Europe I stayed in many five stars properties, and NEVER heard about the child cannot visit his parents in the room ruling?!

Grand Hotel De La Ville in beautiful Sorrento!
Grand Hotel De La Ville was more than what we expected. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the main shops and a 2 minute walk to a catholic church, for those who go to mass. The hotel was beautiful and spotless, with very friendly staff. The room we had was huge, the bed very comfortable and the washroom very roomy! You could wash clothes and hand them to try in the washroom. The cleaners were thorough and it is the first hotel we have stayed in in Italy, where the cleaners were amazing! The buffet breakfast was very good, with lots of options and so far, the best coffee for us. The grounds were impecable and beautiful, with a nice bar and seating area for evening drinks and food options. This hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, we did not have lunch or dinner there, but did order some food with our drinks one evening, which was handy and the food good. They also have a pool on the roof, with several lounge chairs and umbrellas. The Grand Hotel de la Ville is directly across the street from a lemon orchard, that you can walk through for free; it's quite impressive. Please note that this hotel closes this year mid-November, so we were lucky to stay there. It was worth every penny! Sorrento was our favourite place to visit!!

Gorgeous spacious room with lovely colorful tile floors and an elegant bathroom. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous with attentive waitera. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Was a beautiful hotel with lots of space for relaxing both indoors and out. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking a lemon grove & the sea. Lots of breakfast choices and a lovely bar to have cocktails. Walking distance to the main area however out of the tourist centre.

This is a beautiful hotel- The ambiance alone plus the decor are reasons to visit. We had dinner there and it was incredible. We felt as though we had been transported back in time to the 1959’s- out of the Sophia Lauren movie. This is an experience not to miss!!

This is a lovely 4 star hotel. Great location about two blocks out of Tasso and short walk from the train station. We were there in early October, 2023. We stayed 5 nights, which was plenty of time to explore Sorrento and area towns. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. A & P extremely crowded, but Giovanni dropped us at good entry points. Ravello not anywhere as nearly crowded, with nice cafes on the main square. Room was good sized, over the "garden", so no sea view but nice little balcony. The pool deck on the roof is spectacular, with views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. Breakfast buffet typical but very good and fresh. Omelet/eggs prepped fresh as ordered. Crowd seemed mostly American. Shout out to Alessandro, the barman in the bar off the hotel lobby and on the pool deck. Always working, courteous, and attentive. Same can be said for entire staff. We'd definitely stay here again. This was our favorite hotel throughout our stay in Italy! The room was super clean and we had a large private balcony. The top floor with the pool was amazing. All of the staff members were amazing! Breakfast each morning was also great!

It was great having a balcony in our room and we used it every morning with a view. The coffee was the best we had our entire stay in Italy and the breakfast is worth every dime. Most of the staff was very helpful and accomadating but a few were a bit rude and snarky- the others made up for it though.

Wonderful, solid 4 star hotel w many amenities (2 pools, late night food menu options, very good breakfast buffet) and caring/ cheerful staff. Would recommend for location (easy walk w suitcases to and from main bus and train station), atmosphere and location (quiet at night and 5 minutes from city center). Views from the seaward side rooms are awesome and Mt Vesuvius looks great. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, clean and beds are super comfy.

Beautiful, upscale hotel and grounds. Our room had a balcony facing the sea. Breakfasts were amazing, rooftop bar is a must for sunsets, and rooms are exquisite. Location is about a 10-minute walk to the main piazza of this part of Sorrento.

TL:DR if you want poor customer service and a hotel that will nickel and dime you for a bucket of ice or make you jump through hoops to open a bottle of wine, then this is the hotel for you. I’ve never stayed at a hotel without a wine bottle opener in the room or that does not offer complimentary ice service. To make matters, worse the staff guilts you when you ask for a wine bottle opener and expects you to bring the bottle down to the lobby for it to be opened. To get ice, you have to head to the lobby bar or the pool bar (on the 6th floor) which is not adequately staffed. We went and no one was present at either. If you ask for ice to be sent to your room, they charge you an additional fee! Yes, for ice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
