Beautiful Oasis away from touristy Sorrento
Was great staying there. It was clean and well organized. The pool was bliss for when we decided not to go to the beach. They offered a discount card for us to borrow while we were there. The man who checked us in was super friendly and explained everything to us patiently so we'd understand. Our balcony overlooked the pool... Though we couldn't see the ocean. I'm certain no room can unless you're in the one with roof access. Overall was a beautiful time spent that we wished we could have extended but they were fully booked.

Ottimo soggiorno in questa struttura! Camera spaziosa, con veranda privata. Possibilità di usufruire della colazione sia in camera che nel giardino comune. Piscina pulita, con doccia esterna e sdraio/lettini. Il giardino comune è ben curato, e allestito con tavoli per poter trascorrere un pò di tempo in relax ed eventualmente mangiare fuori. personale molto disponibile nel fornire indicazioni su possibili escursioni. Abbiamo viaggiato con una bambina di 3 anni e una gatta: per la bimba su richiesta ci è stato fornito un lettino gratuitamente. Vicina ai mezzi pubblici (autobus da/per sorrento); mentre la spiaggia è raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti. Hanno anche una convenzione con uno dei bagni. Ci ritorneremo!

tres bien pour un sejour sur la cote almafitaine
villa très bien située et agréable chambre propre mais qui mériterais quelques rafraichissements accueil très bien avec toutes les explications nécessaire pour nous faciliter le séjour le parking est un plus sur la cote almafitaine proximité de la gare petit dejeuner simple complet et correct au regard du prix

Everything that could go wrong went wrong.
I'd like to add that our experience was not at the fault of the hotel staff. It was just bad luck. We'd been upgraded to the villa due to a mistake with the booking. Arrived very late to the villa 00:30 and was greeted by a member of staff. When we woke up we discovered that there was no hot water. A plumber came out within two hours and advised the boiler was broken and that it couldn't be looked at until the next day. So we were moved back to the B&B in one of the smallest rooms we've ever stayed in. But it was fine. Then, again, no fault of the owners, but the power blew. It went out for a short period of time, came back on and went again for quite a while. Apparently this happened in quite a few places in Meta. Slightly irritating though as we needed to shower and get ready and there was no window in the bathroom so it was pitch black. This led us to be late to a wine tasting evening with the wedding party we were away with. The lady (I didn't catch her name) was very sorry for the bother and dealt with any issues very quickly. Which, after all, is what you need. It's much worse if there are problems and establishments ignore them. In terms of the break as a whole, we found it very hectic and a logistical nightmare with everything on "Italian Time". Restaurant staff were rude and could barely crack a smile (in Sorrento) and taxi's simply ripped you off (last train from Sorrento to Meta is 21:30 ish - we paid 70 Euro for taxi for 3 people with 2 stops - 20 min trip)

Watch out for Scooters
The only negatives were kitchen ...having to share fridge cooker with other guests no kettle in room and road by hotel is a nightmare

Comfortable and convenient
This small hotel was comfortable and basic. Meta is about 3-4 miles from Sorrento. It is a quiet town. The pool was very good and a welcome relief after a day's sightseeing in temperatures in the high 30s (there was a heatwave at the time). It was very well situated for the rail service - about 10 minutes walk. From there it was easy to access Sorrento (8 mins), Pompei (20 mins), and Herculaneum (40 mins). It was also easy to transfer from Herculaneum to Mt Vesuvius - it's not often you get the chance to look into a volcano! Overall, a comfortable base for sightseeing the area.

Paradise near Sorrento.
Nice owner and good room with big terrace. The location is perfect near the beach and restaurants. Perfect base for those who want to discover the Amalfi Coast.

Very pleasant and great place to relax.
Like an oasis when returning from full tourist days, a very relaxed atmosphere. We were a family of 5 with 3 big teenagers, so the pool was great. There was plenty of space and we has a very enjoyable stay for 4 nights.

Mi dispiace molto che i nostri ospiti abbiano trovato la Villa deludente. Purtroppo non hanno gradito nulla del loro soggiorno, nè la pulizia, nè la tranquillità, nè la vicinanza alle spiagge convenzionate, nè la piscina, nè il bel giardino. Questo è ciò che offre il nostro b&b che, ricordiamo, non è un Hotel, e quindi non offre un Bar. Precisiamo che il parcheggio è di fronte alla Villa ( circa 60 mt) ed è ampio e agevole. Per le prestazione di un Hotel, bisogna andare in un Hotel, con i relativi prezzi.

Due giorni a Meta.
Camera pulita e sufficientemente spaziosa. La proprietaria simpatica e gentile. La colazione costa €. 3,50 a persona (caffè, croissant, succo di frutta, biscotti fette biscottate, nutella e arance fresche se uno vuol farsi una spremuta)

Viaggio itinerante
Buona posizione vicina alla stazione e ai bus ,villa immersa nel verde tra fiori, agrumeti e piscina, bene anche la possibilità del parcheggio gratuito.

B&B in a Quiet Town
This was a very nice family-run B&B which is located in Meta. The staff, especially Rafael, were very welcoming, polite, and made a point of making sure our needs were taken care of. The pool was very well maintained, but be careful as it does not have a shallow end. The only drawback to this hotel is its location; it is in Meta, a small town 3 stops away on the Circumvesuviana to Sorrento, which means getting to major locations (Positano, Amalfi) can be a bit of a hassle. Meta is a charming town if you are looking for something quieter and more low-key; we found a few good restaurants and they have a very nice beach.

A lovely little oasis
This is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a place to stay outside the bustle of Sorrento but with easy public transport access to naples, sorrento, amalifi, capri, etc. The b&b is spotless, beautifully furnished, good beds/showers all in all very comfortable, the owner can't do enough for you and even though you pay a little extra for breakfast its lovely. The pool is the highlight, quiet and deep perfect for us, no fighting for sunbeds here, so nice we didn't bother with the beach which although very picturesque was busy and you had to pay for sunbeds (discount if you get tickets at b&b). Plenty of decent eateries in Meta from simple pizza to lovely fresh seafood restaurants at the beach, the local pizzeria (outside the gate and turn right 3 mins walk) was fab, authentic and great value particularly good at lunchtime. The draft Italian wine from the shop on the corner was perfectly good for 3 euros for 1 1/2 litres (I kid you not). The only downside was the busy local road right outside the garden gate - there's no noise from it once you are in the garden its just a bit like running the gauntlet to cross the road at busy times, fine once you get used to it but probably a bit scary if you have small children/buggies. Probably not the best for people with mobility problems as the whole of the coast is hilly. All in all, a lovely little oasis, great value for money place to stay, delightful place to relax in between sightseeing.

Good guest house with lovely pool.
The room was clean and bright with a lovely balcony overlooking the secluded pool area. It was compact but was fine for a short stay and had air con which was a must while we were there in august. The owner was friendly and helpful and gave us information on transport etc in the local area and places to eat. Breakfast is not included but you can pay for a simple breakfast of coffee and a pastry (we didn't do this so I cant comment). The hotel is in Meta, a village near Sorrento. The train can take you into sorrento but does not come back later at night so you really need to have dinner in Meta or Piano di Sorrento, there are a few nice places to chose from but if you are walking you have to walk on the road in places because the villages don't really have continuous pavements and its hilly!

Familiehotel i top
skønt familiehotel i dejlig lille by Meta. Vi var 2 voksne og 4 børn og fik vores egen private P plad, samt 2 værelser ved siden af hinanden. Servicen fra Stefania er i top og afstanden til gode spisesteder og børnevenlig strand er lille. Hyggeligt familiehotel i hyggelige omgivelser.

Difficult to find!
Once we located this we were initially shown one room but asked to swop and this was done. The room we were given was pleasant and quiet and clean. The breakfast (3.30 euros pp extra) was basic but did include some fresh oranges to squeeze for fresh juice. The pool was clean and surprisingly deep. Meta as a town was not as quiet as hoped but we found an excellent restaurant in a nearby hotel on the beach that served good food and had a scenic view.

Villa Sorrento :)
Flott hotell, med reint og fint svømmebasseng. Koseleg vertinne som gjerne hjelper til med bestilling av bord til middag, transport og liknande. Koseleg hage med appelsiner på trea som ein kan lage eigen juice av. Gåavstand til strender, fleire gode restaurantar og bar, samt daglegvare. Anbefalast!

Séjour de rêve à Sorrento
Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Villa Sorrento. Stéphania est extraordinaire, Très gentille et son accueil est très chaleureux. Toujours disponible pour nous donner Des infos très pertinentes. Très bel hotel a Meta, pas loin de Sorrento.
Hotel très beau, situé dans un endroit très verdoyante au milieu d'un beaux jardin. Chambres très propres, accès a la cuisine, stationnement privé, situé tout près de Sorrento et à un prix très raisonnables. La propriétaire et sa fille ont été d'une gentillesse extrême.

Centrally located B@ B in the small town of Meta
Originally thought our B&B was in Sorrento,realized it was in Meta a small town several stops away from the touristy town of Sorrento. We stayed here a week,used it as a base to visit Pompei,Naples and the Amalfi coast

A simple 'home from home' with lovely pool.
Very friendly,helpful owners in a quiet village location. Good public transport and sunny 'lido style' beaches within walking distance. Delicious local resturants as well and good location for visits to Amalfi Coast/Herculaneum. Excellent guided walking/food tasting tour all around Meta 'old town' was a must!

A relaxing and friendly stay
We stayed for 6 nights. Very nice place, away from the hussle and bussle of Sorrento. Very quiet.The rooms were simple and basic but very clean and cool, all have air con, but we actually didn't need to put ours on. The grounds were clean and you could just sit and sip or read with great views. The pool was ideal, cool to dip into while sunbathing, kept clean. The staff is very helpful and assist you. Steffania and Diana were both absolutly great.

Leuke accommodatie in Meta met centrale ligging
Wij hebben genoten van ons (te korte) verblijf. De kamer was comfortabel, met een balkon en nieuwe badkamer en Airco. Prima uitvalsbasis voor kust van Sorrento, Ecolano en Pompeii. Prima zwembadje om even af te koelen. Houdt rekening met de trappen naar het strand als je moeilijk ter ben bent. De accommodatie ligt hoog en het strand en een aantal leuke restaurants liggen beneden. Er is een lift maar die gaat alléén overdag. Ontbijt kan gebruikt worden tegen een prima prijs bij een nabijgelegen bakkerij. Erg gezellig met de drukte van de Italianen 'S ochtends. Supermarktjes, slagerij en een paar winkels op loopafstand, evenals station en bushalte. Ideaal vonden we de voordelige bustransfer naar Napels ( te boeken bij een reisbureau vlakbij het station)

Sehr gute Lage für die Erkundung der Region
Das Zimmer ist verhältnismäßig klein, jedoch zweckmäßig eingerichtet und es hat einen Balkon sowie ein geräumiges, sehr sauberes Bad; außerdem kann man sich im großen Garten oder am Pool aufhalten. Ein Vorzug ist die geringe Entfernung (ca. 15 Minuten) zur Station der Circumvesuviana. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der einwöchige Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Villa de charme avec piscine.
L'hôtesse est très accueillante. La villa est située au centre du village de Meta à proximité de la plage, des commerces et de la gare (le Circumvesuviana). Il est possible de se rendre facilement, grâce au train, sur le site de Pompéi, ainsi qu'à Sorrento et plusieurs villages situés en bord de mer. La chambre, bien qu'un peu petite, est propre, la climatisation fonctionne bien et la salle d'eau est tout à fait satisfaisante. La piscine est très agréable et propre, des équipements sont à disposition : transats, douche, tables et chaises.

Relax
B e B molto carino e confortevole,struttura ben tenuta e curata e sopratutto la Signora Stefania molto gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio a chi vuole un soggiorno tranquillo e rilassante senza la confusione e freddezza dei grandi alberghi ma cmq posto in posizione strategica per poter raggiungere le attrazioni piu' belle della costiera sorrentina.
