Every window in the hotel showed off the beautiful Sorrento views, hotel was clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed, great air con, lovely walk in shower and a fabulous sized patio equipped with 2 sun loungers and a great view of the ocean.

Hotel Il Miramare is first and foremost staffed with professional individuals who are wonderfully pleasant and friendly. They make all the difference in your experience! In addition to the great staff, my room was an understated boutique level accommodation that kept me comfortable and well rested. I woke up energized to visit the sights of Sorrento and always looked forward to getting back to the hotel to comfortably unwind. This will definitely be my default hotel in Sorrento! Grazie mille, il Miramare!

The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. The room was clean, designed nicely and had a lovely little patio overlooking the water. The location from the main shopping and dining spots of Sorrento is close enough to walk and the views are superb. I really like this hotel.

We loved the hotel. It was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was the gorgeous view from the deck off our room. The only negative was the cost of taking a taxi from the hotel down to the town center, train station and/or ferry.

Our junior suite room at Hotel Miramare was excellent - comfortable with plenty of space, spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, views of the bay of Naples and your own sun terrace! The breakfast was consistently very good with excellent coffee, savoury and sweet options. We also ate at the snack bar and the food was very good and well priced. The pool, while small, was nice to cool off in after a long walk around Sorrento town and the staff friendly and helpful. Only down side is that you do need to be careful when crossing the road to get to and from the hotel. While we were there we ate at the restaurant up the road called Verdemare, and can recommend it for the pizza and pasta. For a very special evening, we also ate at the restaurant over the road called La Tonnarella with fantastic views of the bay of Naples. The hotel can make reservations for you! Overall, we’d recommend the hotel to couples and would happily stay again next time we visit the area.
