Great location,next to restaurants, shops. Short walk to the port of Sorrento. Vera and Anthonino were most friendly and helpful, they prepared fresh bread, homemade jams in the morning.. Be prepared to walk up the stairs to reach the property, no elevator .

A very well maintained property steps from the square. Centrally located to shops and restaurants. Room was clean and it smelled clean. The owner Vera makes you breakfast and serves you homemade jams from her orchard.

This is a little gem of a guest house, tucked away right in the heart of Sorrento. Vera is the most charming and helpful host, and her home-made brioche at breakfast is to die for! The rooms are spacious, airy and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend!

Amazing host, amazing location, amazing amenities. The best stay by far! Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Vera makes delicious homemade breakfast and is very generous with snacks and beverages. The place was super clean and spotless. The location was the best you could get with walking distance to most places. And amenities were in top condition.

Vera and Antonio were the most gracious and hospitable hosts. They made our time in Sorrento all that more enjoyable with their recommendations and advice on our travels through the Amalfi Coast. The location was excellent being in the centre of town, the room was very clean with great amenities such as fast wifi and Netflix. A daily selection of snacks and beverages was also a nice touch. Hopefully we will get to visit again!

We loved our stay at Il Giardino Segreto. The location was very central but very peaceful, and we had a beautiful terrace where we could relax in the afternoons, We had the Pomegranate room, which was very comfortable, especially the bed, and a fabulous bathroom. Vera, the host, could not have been more helpful. We did not get to meet Antonio. We liked that the breakfast table was shared so we could talk to other guests. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. There are 30 - 40 stairs to all three rooms and this is pointed out on the host's website, but Expedia needs to make this more clear (all floors, not just upper floors are accessible by stairs only) so that people with mobility problems know before booking. All in all, by far the nicest place we stayed on our three week trip to London and Italy. Thank you, Vera, we will recommend you to our friends and family.

Overall a pleasant stay

Overall, a pleasant stay there for 4 nights. Very clean, 5 min walk to train station, large beautiful room overlooking Corso Italia, very quiet at night. There is a long 2 flights of stairs to get to the check in and rooms and no elevator...didn't bother me. But you might consider that if mobility is an issue. This BnB is very central to all things Sorrento.

Family owned bed and breakfast. It takes 40+ stairs to the apartments. Our apartment was spacious and very clean with great amenities. Unfortunately, for the time of our stay, wifi was not working, but it did start working on our last day. Air conditioning in our room was also not working well. Very conveniently located with walking distance to all shopping and restaurants as well as ferry. Great breakfast and coffee. Overall highly recommend.

If this property is a hidden gem, it shouldn't be. The building is in piazza Tasso. As soon as you walk outside there are multiple options for cafes, restaurants, and shopping. It's the best location in Sorrento. The rooms are large, clean, and well decorated. Our room had a balcony that overlooked piazza Tasso. Vera is a sweet friendly host. She made us breakfast every morning. She was also helpful with any question we had. When my wife and I return to Sorrento we will return to Giardino Segreto.

The host, Vera was very welcoming and gracious. The rooms are clean, roomy and very comfortable. A private roof top terrace assesible from our room was a lovely surprise. The location was in the heart of historic Sorrento making everything we wanted to see and experience within walkng distance. Breakfast was perfect with eggs, pancakes, homemade sweet rolls and an assortment of jams, spreads, yogurts and juices. Highly recommend. The one thing you need to be aware of is that the entrance is located up a couple flights of stairs. This wasn't an issue for us but may be for others. Enjoy!

Location, facilities, and customer service were excellent. Vera was such a welcoming host. When we told her we would like to spend a day in Amalfi, she suggested transportation options and even called to see if the ferry still had tickets. Her breakfast was delicious! Home made cake, brioche, 4 jams, fruit, coffee, etc. My daughter even had a special birthday surprise in her room. Balloons, a small gift, and a little loaf with candles. She went above and beyond, really. Grazie mille, Vera. Aside from the above, the location was excellent. So close to the train station and ferry port. After a long day, it was so nice to get home quickly. We were in a spacious room for 3. Honestly, the next time I’m in Sorrento no doubt I’ll be back at Vera’s b&b.
