“First of all , Tom is a lovely host friendly and had suggestions for dining and taxi service . Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for moving around . Breakfast was very hospitable and yummy food provided with company at one table with the other B&B persons. My only issue was that four rooms shared a bathroom on the second storey so maybe a suggestion would be to have potentially scheduled shower times or cleaning supplies to share between persons visiting . Thanks ”

“The Shawlee Cottage is a convenient place to stay when you have a car as it is a short drive to Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The owners Sandy and Cathy make an effort to have a conversation with you around the breakfast table, and they sure do have stories to share. They make your stay very welcoming. ”

“This was an extraordinary property, a true find. James and his family made our stay a pleasure. The room was extremely comfortable, the breakfast outstanding. James was very easy to talk with, with a great sense of humor and very helpful in suggesting local attractions. The house and yard were gorgeous. We felt pampered. “Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Im ganzen Haus liegt alter staubiger Teppichboden aus. Zimmer sehr altbacken. Leider war der Wasserkocher so alt und/oder nicht richtig gereinigt, dass sich das Material am Boden gelöst hat und Schimmel darin war auch nicht auszuschließen. Eigentümerin hatte mich herfahren und parken sehen, kam aus ihrem Cottage heraus und lief an mir vorbei ohne zu warten oder grüßen. Sie wusste genau, dass ich ein Gast des Hauses bin. Etwas sonderbar.”

“Lovely B&B in a quiet country location at Mauchline outside Kilmarnock. Modern house surrounded by peaceful countryside surrounded by farmland with views over to Arran on the horizon. The room was comfortable and clean with all amenities and free wifi available. “5박이상머물기에 좋은 호텔이였어요.부엌: 토스터,커피메이커,마이크로웨이브,식기류,세제가 있어서 식사를 만들어먹을수있어요.클로젯:옷을 걸기에 충분하고,옷을 정리할 수있는 선반도있어서 좋아요.화장실:샤워&샴푸가 있고 깨끗했으나 5일내내 하수구냄새가 나서 매우 힘들었어요.향수를 뿌려도 화장실악취가 온 방에 계속나요.책상과의자:작업하기에 정말 편했고 특히 책상위에 전등이 있어서 일하기너무 편했어요.침대:매트리스가 딱딱하고 베개는 돌덩어리같이 너무 딱딱했어요.교통:바로 앞에 St.에녹지하철역이있고 마트도 가깝고 공항버스도 가까이 있어서 정말 편리해요.조식:종류가 다양하고 맛있었어요.”

“Well maintained place even though old building. Very kind staffs and great breakfirst. Huge room with kitchennet which we like the most. Only big concern is the noise from bars in the first floow nearby. There are several bars near by and these are close at 3am. We stayed during weekend till Monday and very nisy in the night and we had to use ear plug to sleep.”
