“We loved everything about the property. Joe and Keith were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome in their beautiful slice of paradise. There are 4 separate lodges each very well appointed with wonderful views over the Uvita landscape. Natures edge is set high up on the hillside in a secluded spot surrounded by lots of flora and fauna. We saw lots of bird life and were woken by howler monkeys! The lodge had a small useful kitchenette with full cooking facilities available at the pool....

“Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. “Beautiful property, nice pool, air conditioning, access to fridge and kitchen. The wifi signal was very weak, tiny bathroom too small to get dressed in was a problem staying with three people. The hotel listing doesn't match the actual hotel. The hotel is located down a long rocky dirt road. It's a 15 or 20 minute walk to get food in the heat unless you have a car or take an uber. It would be nice to have access to food closer but mainly as a traveler without phone service in Costa Rica I needed...
