"We both share part of miscommunication at check in, since we arrived at night and they don't have frint desk at this hour. And we didn't tell them about our arrival. But everybody just move so quickly to fix everything for us even the owner phone us from out of the country to ensure everything was ok. Road was not good, but driving was ok, hour and a half from Puerto Jimenez. Rooms are big. Rest rooms are in the room, but kind of out in the open. NO AC. La Cusinga Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"This was a beautiful property. We stayed in the Jaguarundi room and had a lovely view of the whale tale from our room’s balcony. It was a very nice size with a separate bedroom (but note there is not a door to close it off) and a separate sitting area and an additional area next to the sitting area with an additional queen bed. It’s so lush all around the property and we saw so many beautiful birds and some spider monkeys from our room. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful with a stone shower and counter. The staff were lovely and so helpful. There are hiking trails on the property which was really cool to have access to. Be aware there is no AC but there are ceiling fans and stand fans. We were here in September and found it doable but at times it can feel a bit warm. We would happily stay here again."
