South Shore, California hotel rooms at the Aimbridge Hospitality

This is a family owned lodge, and yes it feels like home, the owner is always helpful and friendly and run the business with hearts and effort! Visited there last weekend! During the winter storm, wow it's been a long time since last time I saw this much snow, so fun, but almost got stuck in Tahoe LOL, 50/88/80 were all closed and waited 3 hour to get out. Room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Customer service was excellent. The ease of the PIN code for the door and the text updates were helpful. Highly recommend and would stay here again!!!

Central location, near dining, shopping- enjoyed the quiet stay with front door parking- responsive kind staff

We loved staying here! Unfortunately we had a last minute change to our stay but Dana was able to accommodate us and made sure we were taken care of. The room was spacious and we appreciated the tea and coffee service. Super comfortable bed after a long road trip. Very convenient to the Whole Foods and area restaurants. Incredibly quiet room. Would definitely stay here again!

So far the best 5-star hotel I've stayed at. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the valet, and bags were taken in by the staff. Complimentary champagne and wine during check-in. I was also given a short tour of the resort and everything you can do. The room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The rooms were adjoined to others but this was not an issue. Pleasant staff. Free use of snow shoes and sleds. Cute cozy cabin albeit it became too warm and the heating was centralized so I had to crack open a window to feel comfortable in bed. Great access to beach which had a ton of snow when we were there.

Had a great time staying at Sierra Inn during a fishing trip. The rooms are renovated and everything was clean and working well. It's been very quiet and peaceful during the night and you can hear the river flowing outside. Behind the motel there's a beautiful patio area with grill and picnic tables right by the river which we gladly used during our stay. Would stay here next time I'm around the area.

We needed a place to stay for the night where we could park our truck and RV safely while getting a good night’s rest and a meal. This place checked all of the boxes for us, including accommodations for the smoker so he didn’t have to keep meandering through the halls to get outside to smoke. So rare these days to find a hotel that still has any dedicated smoking rooms! Desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in and we found our room easily with her specific instructions. Location, location, location! Right on the beach. Literally. Sweeping views of Lake Tahoe. Outdoor amenities include picnic tables, barbecues, beach volleyball, fire pit and swimming pool. I loved that the property was within walking distance to literally everything! We walked to the state line for the events attended. The Inn was clean and didn’t have any strong smells like chemicals cleaners or even an old musty smell. I don’t care where I stay so long as the room and bed I sleep in is clean! Desk is only open from 7am to 9pm. We typically arrive late, so thankfully we got in around 8:30 pm! I get cold seats even now at how close we were to sleeping in our car!
