No idea how this hotel got 4 stars.
Old hotel (not necessarily bad).
We had booked a suite, got a room with approx 10sqm bedroom (4sqm bed+approx 50cm on each of 3 sides)+small bathroom. When we complained, we were informed that no other rooms are availalbe. The next day we could move. According to the hotel, expedia does not provide the information which type of room is booked nor what we paid for the night. If this was true, how could the booking system work at all??
We were ready to change rooms the next day, although not convinced by the rest of the hotel -
partly linoleum in the hallways, thin doors of the rooms (heard everything from the floor an close rooms), extra costs for the pool (in an expensive 4-star-hotel!)...
But then came breakfast, or rather - not: Breakfast until 10am. We arrived 9.15. The buffet had been raided. No bread, flys on the ham. No black tea (!! in a 4 star hotel). I was informed that it is weekend, that's why! 4 waiters in a relatively small hall (considering the size of the hotel), dirty tables, not a single laid table. Sat on a dirty table. Nobody bothered. We asked for spoons/knives. Waiter told this is not our table. ah! And where was it? He told us, they had not been informed we would have breakfast... (??) Noone ever considerd just laying a table for us! 4 stars?
plus: used shower bottles in the shower, matresses too small for the bed (10cm gap betw. matress and bedframe), mildew on the window.
We left the hotel and will never return.
