Just what I wanted: an old hotel with a bit of character and a warm welcome. Bathroom was a bit ‘tired’ but clean with soft towels. Comfy bed, warm room, enough storage for a short stay. Actual keys on a big wooden fob instead of horrid plastic cards that stop working was appreciated. Had to ask for a hairdryer but wasn’t a problem.

Friendly hotel

As always a great welcome from receptionist and remembered I’d visited several times before to see family. Unfortunately we didn’t manage breakfast on both days due to different circumstances. Staff overall very friendly. Location convenient for me so will always stay here when visiting family.

We had a lovely weekend visiting family staying at the brentwood we had a lovely family room with 2 bathrooms.. staff were so good with our 3 year ola which was so nice as he can be abit of a handfull.. we travel up north alot to see family and we will definitely be trying to book here again

We paid £45 for a Sunday night & although the hotel is a little bit tired, for the price it was great! Clean, comfy bed & the staff are lovely. Didn’t book breakfast as we had to leave really early, but what we saw of it it looked great.
