"The room was nice, a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee would have been good. Also, more milk! Most staff were friendly and helpful. However, in the morning I wanted to buy a cup of coffee - not breakfast. And this seemed to present an enormous challenge! Reception staff said to just go through to the dining area but the first member of staff was flummoxed. Then the second member of staff wondered whether the coffee machine was on (!) A third member of staff took me over to the bar area where there was a coffee machine but then changed his mind and said he'd use the machine in the restaurant area. When I said okay, and that I'd take a seat he said, 'No, come with me.' All this, for a cup of coffee. In a good hotel. So, I said, 'Never mind,' and went across the square, where I bought a good cup of coffee from the Cafe Nero."

"Room was clean and tidy and had been recently refurbished. However the door to the balcony took a lot of effort to secure. The bed was comfy and the room had a nice feeling although we were close to the lift and the noise was quite noticeable throughout the night. Breakfast was a buffet, however arriving slightly later 9:15ish meant that things weren't as well stocked as we thought they might be for a cooked breakfast. Parking for the property is limited and options around the hotel are also limited and can be expensive. "

"We loved the room, layout was great. Loved the bed, very comfortable! Shower was good as well. Only thing I would ask for is a magnifying mirror in the bathroom as I struggled to put my lenses in! Staff were lovely as well. Our new favourite in Leeds! "

"Perfectly located in Sheffield city centre close to many bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely clean room, friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast to send you on your way. "

"Brilliant stay. All staff were friendly and courteous. We left our bag there before check in and also after check out which was a brilliant perk. The room was amazing and the toiletries were lovely - the handwash smelt devine. Breakfast was good, plenty of options but it was very busy so things did run out but the staff were very quick to refill them. Handy location for the train station. Would stay there again. "

"Didn’t even get to stay here as the hotel had a problem with the payment from hotels.com which I was expected to sort out! When I gave them the number to ring to sort that hotels.com gave me, they didn’t try to get through to them. I then had to pay to stay in another hotel last minute. No help from some of the staff and no manager to talk to."
