“Great location in Indian Village area. Beautiful restored 1903 mansion of 16,000 square feet. exquisitely furnished with period furniture and paintings. Close to rverything Detroit had to offer. We stayed two nights and will definitely be coming back. Rachel was such a great host and proudly gave my wife and I a tour of the house. We loved every minute of our stay. Large and comfortable room with a super comfortable bed. You’ll love this one of a kind bed and breakfast.”

“communtation was excellent. Was meet as we arrived and showen around the property. Excellent home. clean rooms in a quite area. Breakfast was very good, as it was freshly made just for us. We had good conversation with the owner. This is a place you will want to stay at.”

“Great location and greater hosts. Two sisters that run a bed and breakfast as it should be. You can sense the pride of ownership as you enter. Off the main streets making it quieter in the evening but still short walking distances to downtown attractions, including all three sporting venues. The smallest of details not overlooked right down to the homemade preserves for breakfast!”

“So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. "During our 7-night stay, housekeeping was only done once. And that was after making more than 10 phone calls. The floor was covered with hair and dust. Since they didn’t clean the room, I at least asked for water and towels, but they didn’t even provide that. This is unimaginable service for a hotel that charges 1 million KRW per night. I booked this hotel for my daughter’s school admission, but it turned out to be the worst hotel experience of my life. Parents visiting Ann Arbor, please never come here—absolutely never. "

"3.5성급이지만 2성급 같은 호텔이었습니다 너무 낡았고 좁고 냄새도 역해서 바로 체크아웃하고, 바로 앞에 courtyard marriot 3성급 호텔로 옮겼는데 너무 비교 되게 좋았습니다 이 호텔은 심각하게 재평가가 필요합니다 추후 다른 손님을 위해 조정이 되어야 할것 같네요 카운터 직원도 매우 불친절하고 로비만 번쩍번쩍 좋은 호텔이었습니다 "
