"This hotel is within the Banff National Park on the Bow River. There are mountains everywhere you look and a beautiful nature trail that takes you right into downtown Banff which is along the river. The hotel experience was wonderful in all ways - beautiful room, delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, (we did the Gold experience which I would highly recommend) heated pools, restaurants, and morning yoga classes. The staff were exceptional also. We can’t wait to return!"

"Room carpets and furniture at reception were old and not clean and require replacement. The fan could be in a place where we could see and instructions to keep the window open in the night would have been helpful. The first night without opening the window was like sleeping in an oven in spite of the low temperatures outside."

"My stay was overall okay. The hotel is definitely more dated compared to many newer properties, but it appears renovations are currently underway, which helps explain some of the wear and tear. Despite the construction, my stay was comfortable and I didn’t experience any major issues. The room and facilities were adequate, though nothing particularly stood out. Service was fine, and everything worked as expected. My main concern was the price, as I felt the hotel was a little expensive for what it offered in its current condition. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I would have expected a bit more value for the cost."
