As for the manor house itself, it was charming, well loved and we made the most of the many sitting rooms and fireplaces. The food was delicious and fresh. We were sad to leave and highly recommend a short or longer stay for a country getaway. "
"Initially I wasn't sure about staying at the Imperial Hotel (as it's an actual hotel/restaurant/pub), but the accomodation out the back is quiet and convenient. It isn't particularly modern, butwas neat and tidy, and had all we needed. Will likely stay there again. "
