“It was great! Person at the front desk switched me from airstream (no bathroom) to hotel, then discussed the unique bed frames which are genius. I built my own the next weekend. Yay me!”

“This is a nice place to stay. It is right on the main highway through Salida, so everything is close by. The room was clean and quiet, and it has been remodeled with a nice retro style. The breakfast is very good - better than most in this price range. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good all around.”

“Had stayed before, but due to a blizzard at home we stayed safe. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The refill of the toilet tank was a tad noisy, but short term. Breakfast was very nice. Good to know a clean quiet economical place is close by.”

“The King Cottage is a great place to stay. Would be better if the fence was fixed to make a private yard where dog could roam. Needs a small table and chairs, though. I recommend getting rid of the recliner and putting in a small table with two chairs.”

“Nice area behind the hotel to walk the dog. Drive river bed with plantings was particularly pretty.”

“Rooms are cozy and well furnished, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was closed when I was there, however the pool is very warm and the sauna was nice. Coffee in the morning. All in all, a great stay!”

“Easy to find. Parking onsite. Great, walkable location in Durango near shops and restaurants. We enjoyed Lola's next door with our dog for drinks and dinner. Excellent and prompt communication before and during our stay. Owner is very nice and helpful. We reserved a dog friendly king studio. The room was small but more than adequate. Many dog friendly amenities like bowls, a dog bed, and dog sheet were in the room. I hate to mention any complaints but the room was a tad warm. There wasn't air...

“Great location in Telluride. A little older property, but everything you need such as restaurants, popular bars, grocery store, shopping, ski rentals, location to the gondola and most importantly coffee is within a block or two—really can’t beat the location. The staff was always available and accommodating and the cleaning service was top notch! The only issue we had was the continuous plugging of the toilets and broken bathtub water faucet handle. We made due, fixed it ourselves and notified...

“The yurt was situated along the creek with was really nice to listen to. The bath house was updated andvery clean. The only complaint was that upon opening the door, the room was extremely warm. It did cool off quickly with the door open. Then i realized i could roll up yhe windows also. Overall a nice place to stay ”
