"Wonderful, charming hotel right in the centre of San Gimignano. The hotel was quite and peaceful, and my wife and I enjoyed watching the swallows out the bedroom window in the morning. The hosts were very helpful with recommendations and travel planning"

"We had the loveliest stay in Hotel Casolare! From the minute we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful! We stayed in the Cipresso apartment and it was perfect for the 4 of us staying with a well equipped kitchenette and a lovely patio area to sit out on! All very clean and fresh. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant on our first night and breakfasts were lovely with plenty of selection and so fresh! Our favourite part was the bruschetta bar with lots of selection of toppings, all gorgeous! The pool area was clean and peaceful and we were able to get drinks from the bar to have there during the day. This was our second time staying here after a stay in 1998 when the hotel was just opened and it had been somewhere we always wanted to come back to! We will definitely be back again xx"

"Hotel is right in the center of Gimignano. The staff were nice and able to check in early at 12:30pm. The room is large, clean, and quiet. The shower flow is very good but the tub is leaking a lot. Nearest parking lot is 600 meters away in P2 - parking lot is open and cost 15 euros per day. No in and out privilege. I would love to come back and stay here again."

"Beautiful and well run Agritourism location. With stunning views, excellent location for exploring and warm hosts Tenuta Guardastelle is a perfect choice for exploring Tuscany. We spent six nights in a beautifully appointed traditional apartment enjoying meals and a glass of wine while we soaked in the Tuscan countryside. San Gimigmano is busy with tourist buses during the day but calms at night. Get off the main streets during the day and find small excellent cafes. If you have a car explore the quiet towns and vineyards and soak up the Tuscan hospitality. "
