"We stayed at Hotel Park in Split and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is comfortable and well located, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The style is traditional with some modern aspects. We would probably have stayed at the Ambassador (which is more our personal style), but we booked our holiday late and the price difference was too much to justify.
Breakfast offers a wide choice, but we found the quality of some of the hot food to be fairly average compared to other hotels in this category.
One big issue for us was sunbed availability around the pool. The pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, but it is very small and loungers were often occupied from late morning until late afternoon, making it difficult to enjoy the facilities after a day exploring Split.
Although we don’t ever really use minibars, we noted that the prices were high, even by 5-star hotel standards.
That said we enjoyed our stay and would happily return to this hotel should we need to. Our room was large and comfortable, although the air conditioning was noisy."
