The breakfast buffet was lovely. All the food groups were plentiful and fresh. The room was perfect and the shower, while small, had a good water flow. Staff were uniformly attentive and helpful; I even was able to get my clothes washed and dried, after hours.

The property is newer, very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Parking was not great and the walk to the reception was not expected, but overall, it was a nice hotel.

Firstly it was great being able to park our car in their carpark for free. We had a warm welcome which was quick and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bed, bathroom, and a sea view. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of healthy options and the outdoor area was pleasant in the warm October sunshine.

Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms and hallways have more of a dormitory feel. There is a Franciscan church attached, and we surmise that the hotel might once have been a dormitory for the monks and nuns before being converted to a hotel. Nice beach park 5 minute walk. Old town about a 30 minute walk.

Great location!! If you are looking to be a bit closer to the beaches rather than the city center/old town, this is a perfect spot away from all of the commotion. Only about a 30minute walk to the Riva Promenade, but only 5 minutes or so from the nearest beaches! We enjoyed the walks into town each day, and great food locations. Staff was amazing, loved the breakfast and bar service, highly recommend this spot!

Nice hotel with friendly staff and nice People around. Good size of the room and good beds with nice sea view. We really likes that there was a lot of closet space and a refrigerator in the room. I think that the water in the shower drain ran slowly and that the gym should have been open longer and there should have been more variety for breakfast.

Check in was fast and easy. We were in a hurry to get to a tour of palace. Was 30 min walk to palace. Hotel is located close to a main hospital about 2 blocks away. Lots of parking. Seems like an old dorm for students or something, that was converted to a hotel. Worked great for us as we only needed one night stay

Wonderful rooms in a quiet part of town, quite a walk from the old town but definitely doable if you are able bodied. Taxis and Ubers are very inexpensive.

We were in town for several days for business and stayed at the Pax per a friends recommendation. We were not disappointed. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will stay here again next spring when we are in town. It is a short walk to the water and various dining options. They have a nice breakfast spread with a variety of options suiting a wide range of tastes. Two thumbs up!

This is a nice property with beautiful views. However, it is very difficult to find the entrance. Google map gets you nearby but about 100 meters off. There are few hotel signs that are very helpful. From the parking to entrance you hsve to walk your luggage a distance to get there.

Ok here’s a very honest review of the hotel hope it helps other travellers. 1. The hotel at first might be confusing to find especially using Google maps but once you find it it’s easy. 2. It’s a very good hotel if you have a car rental because they have a lot of parking spaces for guests. 3. The location is a bit far from the old town/ferry port, but taking an uber is the best way since it costs only around 5€ per trip. Parking is expensive in the old town. 2€ for the first Hour and 3€ per succeeding hour. 4. The hotel is big, has good choices for breakfast and dining in as the restaurant serves good food and good drinks as well. 5. I read some reviews that the shower is small, it is true it is like a portable capsule shower but what was important was it was clean and water pressure and hot water was very good. 6. The WIFI can be better though. It was slow and we used our data during our stay as it couldn't load fast enough. All in all for the price it was great.
