Comfortable stay in Split

Well equipped room in a great location (close to everything but also peaceful) with some outdoor seating and communal coffee machines. Rooms were well thought out with beach towels provided, kettle and mini fridge.

Great location just a few minutes walk from everything, room was very clean and comfortable! The host Daniela was very helpful when it came to parking which is very competitive in the area, and had her friend reserve a spot for us! Can’t recommend enough, 10/10!

Very nice facility, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Very central location and suitable for everything, a few minutes' walk and you're in the historic center of Split. The cleaning staff and the owner, Ms. Daniela, were always very helpful.

Nothing Luxury about this place

This property was a huge disappointment. It is advertised as a 4-star stay, but in reality, it’s barely 2 stars. Even before arrival, communication was frustrating we tried multiple times through Hotels.com to ask about check-in, but received no response. That should have been the first red flag. We eventually had to call directly, only to be told the key would just be left on the door hardly the welcome you expect from a so-called “luxury” property. The room itself was very poor. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets smelled and felt old, and the towels were so worn out they even had holes. There was no daily housekeeping, and no welcoming touches such as drinks or amenities. Overall, the property is misrepresented. They seriously need to remove the word “Luxury” from their name, and stop advertising themselves as a 4-star stay. Definitely not worth the price.

One week trip without children

We chose the bottom floor and this was great, could eat our breakfast outside every morning. If we needed cleaning we just let them know and it was done. The location was perfect and close to the restaurants and 30minute walk to the beach.

The French

Very nice and clean. There was just a friend woman screaming at her boyfriend at 8am and the walls did not block out her annoying noice. The screaming went on for no joke 1 hour then when I went to the grocery store they had a cigarette break ourisde and when I got back she was back at yelling for 20 more minutes.

If you can find this place, it’s great. Very charming building, rooms very comfortable and modern, strong AC. Location is great too. Only caveat is that it is extremely hard to find, even with WiFi. I wouldn’t book unless you will have both WiFi and phone service. No one attends the house. We wouldn’t have found it had two lovely neighbors not taken pity on us and called around to all the neighbors to figure out which house it was (no names on it) and then called the proprietor who told us nonchalantly the door was open, to just let ourselves in and grab the room keys. Never saw anyone who worked there or the owner. All that said the accommodations were very charming and our stay comfortable. Just hard to find.

This property checked all the most important boxes I look for as a solo female traveler - it was safe, quiet (far away from the main promenade to not hear the noise, but close enough to easily walk), and clean. However, the other aspects of the property didn’t justify the cost and 4-star rating in my opinion. The room itself was very small - really just enough room for a twin bed and a small table. The bathroom didn’t have any shelving in the shower, so I had to place toiletries on the floor while showering. It also didn’t have space near the sink for toiletries, so I had to get creative. There was a slight sewage smell on and off in the bathroom. The most uncomfortable part for me was actually the bed situation. There was only a single pillow and no actual comforter. The only “blanket” on the bed was an oversized towel (terry cloth material), which wasn’t very warm. The curtains also weren’t adequate to block out the light, which is a bit of an issue in the summer when sunrise is so early and sunset so late. Another big factor when booking my room was the airport transport since I had an early flight out. The host did a good job coordinating that with the driver. Unfortunately, communication with the driver herself was a bit difficult and she ended up sending her husband to drive me which I wasn’t comfortable with for my own safety since I was originally expecting a woman. This was only communicated to me at pick up time and I opted not to take the ride.

Centrally located appartment

Very clean and centrally located apartment right near the centre of Split. Steps up to main building so you need to be able to negotiate these. Otherwise very nice. Self check in.
