올드타운 돌아다니기 좋은 위치입니다. 깔끔한 방 안에 작은 싱크대와 냉장고가 있고 욕실도 깨끗합니다. 짐부터 맡기려고 했는데 도착하자마자 얼리체크인 해줘서 편했어요.

하필 맨위층에 묵는바람에 캐리어를 끌고 가기가 매우 힘들었다는거 빼고는 주변지역에 맛집이나 유적지도 가깝고, 주인도 친절하고, 시설도 깨끗하고 안락하니 좋았던것 같아요~~

The location was perfect for me. Super close to the old city and walking distance to the ferry port. It is essentially a small studio apartment. The only draw back for me was having to carry my luggage up all the stairs. Not a big problem as I was travelling relatively light and only had to tote it up and down once.

The apartment is in a very convenient place closer to everything. It was very quiet at night. Everything was clean and not bad smells. There's no lifts so better to travel light. I will recommend this accomodations to my friends. Communication with the owners was not necessary since everything is self-explanatory. Thank you for a great place .

The apartment is in a fantastic location in the old town, beneath a smart restaurant and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see of Split - from the Palace to Marjan. Accessing the property and communicating with the host were both straightforward.

The property was very nice. I had a room on the top floor. The stairs were a bit difficult to negotiate in a couple of places. The gated front door with key pad worked well. I was pleased with the room decor. It was clean and tidy. The accommodation was up a street off the road that runs by the bay. There were some lovely restaurants further up the motor vehicle free street. Make sure you reserve a table at any of the eating places. Or, you’ll be disappointed. The Old Town was a 10 minute walk away. I would be more than happy to book a room here again in the future.

A very disappointing stay here and not great if you're on a budget and looking for somewhere to cook some of your meals. Despite being stated as part of the booking, there were little to no cooking facilities as part of our stay here. When we asked the host for some more cookware we received a hostile 'no' and they insisted that our cutlery was enough to meal prep? We also found the hob not to be working. It was only after we contacted Expedia that we received a new portable hob and a single pot. That was it. After our interaction with the host, we didn't feel very welcome for the rest of our stay. They did the bare minimum for us and didn't apologise for the inconvenience we had. We received no housekeeping, nor did we have dressing gowns given (two things also listed in the property while booking). The room was also quite unpractical; we couldn't unpack properly as there was not much cupboard space, and plug sockets were in hard-to-use places. The only positives were the location of this property (the neighbourhood is lovely). Other than that I wouldn't recommend those traveling on a budget to stay here. Such a disappointment and a real negative of our holiday.

Perfect location near the old town, waterfront, shops and restaurants. Fantastic friendly communication from the owners. We were able to leave our bags pre check-in and were advised that our room was then ready well ahead of the usual 2pm. The owners did our airport transfers in a beautiful car at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely stay at Villa Matejuska again.

Everything was fine except that they never cleaned the room while we were there. The place was pricey so we expected that at least someone would come to change the towels but we were there for 5 nights and no one ever came to clean anything.

The property was ok. The staff was rude and unhelpful. He left our group just 1 key. He messages us that he will help us with stairs but disappeared. When we asked him about parking he sent us to the most expensive one while there were some cheaper options available. Also, during my stay I got food poisoning and requested him to give us an hour extra to check out. He straight away said big fat No and asked us to leave at 10 sharp.

The owner was very communicative and the room was ready earlier than expecting so we could drop our bags sooner than we thought. The room was clean and so were all the linens and towels. Would definitely recommend for future visitors!

This hotel is fantastic and close to the water, the walking street, historical areas, grocery stores, lots of restaurants, etc. very very pleased with how spacious it is and in great condition. It’s walking distance from the ferry port so don’t let a taxi driver scam you like he did us for €30. Buffet fife restaurant a bottom of the street to the right was our favorite good prices

Best place yet!!
We requested a room with minimal stairs and were pleased to be given the first floor. Wonderful spacious room, very well done, new windows that kept it silent at night although on a charming street with little noise. Highly recommend as it’s close to the water, the Riva walking street, restaurants, old town etc one of the nicest places we have found on our 5 week trip! It’s walking distance from the ferries so don’t trust the dishonest taxi drivers that say it’s far and charged 30 euros cash!

Great value in Split Old Town
Very central to Split Old Town, harbour and all the sights. Lots of great traditional restaurants close by. Room was comfortable and clean, and communication with manager clear. Easy walk to train/bus/ferry stations. Great price for location in Split.

The property was absolutely stunning, the room was super clean and comfy - we had everything we needed. Location is perfect right in the center yet still a nice quite street. Luka, the owner, was so helpful from the beginning and made sure we had the best stay possible. I would highly highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Split!

Vi hade 2 nätter i Split & behövde bara ett rum att sova i & ett kylskåp. Centralt läge men på en lugn gata. Mysigt område. Rummet var ok till det pris vi betalade, enkelt men funktionellt. Bra städning & hjälpsam värd.

Bra läge och mysigt rum men dåligt utrustat
Bra läge nära gamla stan och strandpromenad. Hade rum längst upp, trappor upp (50 steg). Fin terass utanför. Bra sängar och rent förutom lite hår i badrummet. Kitchenette fanns men innehöll inga bestick eller kastruller, och vi fick inga heller trots att vi påpekade det (via chatt). Svaret var att "det finns där eller så någon gäst tagit med sig". Ja men sånt ska väl kontrolleras eller åtminstone åtgärdas efter påpekande? Frukostplanerna fick således ändras. Receptionen är inte öppen från kl 8 som det står. Vi hade meddelat ankomsttid och fått ok på att få ställa väskor, när vi kom var ingen där men fick ett meddelande om att han skulle komma en timme senare och att vi skulle ta en kaffe nånstans.
