โWe had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we couldโve stayed longer! Itโs an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless youโre returning after midnight.

โI was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. โ

โLocation is good, 5 mins away from the Genoa brigonale station. very close to the old town (5-10mins by foot). the room and the bathroom were all very clean. staff were all very friendly, nice, and helpful. I will stay at this hotel If I have a chance to visit Genoa again.โ
