Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fredericksburg by IHG
6/10 Okay
"There was only one person that I came across that wasn’t all that friendly. The liner in the bottom of the tub needed to be replaced, it was peeling up on one end. We had problems getting good signal on the tv. The one major complaint, my daughter and son in law had continuous problems with their key cards. She was unable to use hers the first day. His worked at first, but later he couldn’t get in the room. The 2nd full day, they took their baby and toddler back to the hotel so they could get a good nap. They got up to their 5th floor room, and neither of the keys would work. Both kids were extremely tired, and my son in law has to go all the way back downstairs to get his card reprogrammed. Over two full days, they had to have the keys reprogrammed at least seven times. My husband and I came across another couple on the 3rd floor that also had continuous problems with their keys. I had also contacted the hotel after making reservations requesting that the two rooms at least be on the same floor. One ended up being on the 3rd floor. The other on the fifth. It also sucks that for a big hotel like that, parking is very limited. On the bright side, the hotel is very clean, well maintained, and the staff, from the cleaning staff to the front desk, were very friendly."
"Pro: plenty of parking. Free breakfast. Pet friendly. 24/7 staff.
Con: unable to lock room lock. Breakfast was poor. Can smell cigarette and various inhale products in the vicinity."

2/10 Terrible
"The hall way smelled very bad. The rug in the room was stained and dirty. The toilet in our room didn’t refill after flushing. We had to keep opening the tank to do it manually. We arrived close to midnight and we were only staying the one night so we just dealt with it."

10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, friendly and helpfull staff (front desk Ms. Queen was awesome). The hotel and rooms are a bit dated but everything works well and it was a comfortable stay for our road trip night stay. Conveniently located off the interstate."
"I can't speak for anybody else or any other review, but I'm speaking for the review that I personally had the one night that I stayed there. I recently stayed here during a late-night trip, checking in around 8:00 PM and leaving around 8:00 AM the next morning. Because my stay was so short, I didn’t have enough time to fully evaluate everything the property had to offer.
The room was clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. One of the biggest positives was the pricing. The rate was very reasonable, and I appreciated the value for the money. The only issue that I ran into, but it wasn't the fault of the hotel was more of the fault of the person staying above me, is that either of them or their kids were making a lot of noise running through the room above me and I called the front desk and they immediately took care of it so I'm very appreciative of that.
I would likely stay here again because of the excellent pricing and great staff. Overall, it was a clean, affordable hotel with friendly service and good value for the price."
