Spring Creek, Nevada hotel rooms at the Independent

"Clean comfortable room and beds. Very quiet for being near the highway. Good breakfast."

"Room was not clean upon entering. Other tenants said the same. thankfully they moved us to another room and that was much better but still not up to the quality we see at other Quality Inn hotels. Coffee was lukewarm at 6:30am and hot water was cold. Not worth what we paid."

"The smoke detector is between the beds and flashes white and green lights 8 times per minute!! Unbelievably bad design to put it there to disturb sleeping guests! I had to get some tape and napkins from the front desk to try to block out the lights standing on my bed to reach it. Only partially successful."

"Room was run down but clean. We had a leak from the AC unit that gave us a soggy carpet next to the bed. Discovered in the middle of the night. Did not get breakfast voucher as it was a too go sandwich since it was Mother's Day. Ask for a room on the back as the noise and lights from tour buses and early risers can be disruptive."

"When got there power wasn’t working in room. I booked two queen beds and got two full beds with not even a foot between beds to move around. It was very small. Along with the shower was not clean. Staff was nice but not in a hurry to come look at the power."

"This motel was beautiful on the inside. Price was reasonable but it felt high end. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was so hot in the room and the AC/Heater would not work. The knobs were taken out so I could not turn it on or adjust the temp. Thank god the window was able to open. I opened the window all night and that was how we stayed cool throughout the night. Also bed was not the most comfortable that’s a big thing for me. Over all it was a presants stay for me. Single mom with 4 kids so I always struggle to find rooms to accommodate all of us with a reasonable price point. This fit the bill. I still will definitely stay there again. I feel like this will be our go to. "
