"This trendy upscale hotel is worth the money just for the location and the comfortable beds which are clutch after walking around the city all day. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. They were kind enough to let me know that my original room on the 9th floor might be a bit noisy with the bar upstairs, so I switched to a room on the 4th floor - inner facing - and got a great nights sleep. The rooms are European sized so more than 2 people would be tricky, but enough space to unpack and stretch your legs. The shower is a frosted glass so it is a bit of a shadow show so make sure you’re comfortable with your travel partner. They provide water every day and the breakfast is excellent. There are also lots of restaurants nearby for dining in or take out and they run the gamut for pricing. The only thing that I can note of improvement is that there was jam or jelly on the tv remote when I checked in. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others though! "

"My friend and I loved the smell of the hotel when we walked in! So nice after a long drive, the lobby screamed sit here and let your cares melt away. Beautiful and definitely intimate inviting feel. Staff was so nice and welcoming. Roof top bar was great with tasty drinks and great food. Very walkable area, restaurants and shopping, easy parking. I paid for a spot in front of the hotel door. It is worth the extra $45 per night. Literally steps from the door. The twin bed room is small but fine for what we needed it for. Bathroom is great with good space. Provided soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Keurig, Amazon echo show, and TV. Uber was easy to get to see the sites. HINT: Old Ebbitt Grill is the place to see and be seen! Make reservations! There were a few things to be aware of however. There is very little noise insulation. I definitely recommend bringing ear plugs or headphones. Our stay overall was wonderful and I will definitely rebook at Hotel Nell when I visit DC again! "
