"This is the absolute best place to stay in St Andrews! Clean, comfortable, warm room. Modern bathroom. Very friendly staff. Delicious and large breakfast. Cheerful and homey place to return each night. We can't wait to return!"

"We very much enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Fairmont in late November. Location is stunning, in close proximity to the sea and accessible coastal path. Our room was large and very comfortable and well furnished. All staff we encountered were extremely helpful, particularly Emma /Emily on reception (who dealt efficiently with a room booking discrepancy caused by Expedia) and Alex on Concierge. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a la carte options and egg station. Swimming pool was large with a well organised booking system. The spa lived up to expectation. The golf practice facilities were very good and open to all residents. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play the golf courses on site as planned owing to the weather, but they looked scenic and well maintained. There is a regular shuttle bus service into historic St Andrews town, which is a few miles away. Would definitely stay there again. "
