“A tidy and well-maintained place, conveniently located in the heart of the city. We stayed in the family room, which was spacious and comfortable, making for a very pleasant visit. The breakfast was enjoyable, with a great selection of delicious pastries.”

I stayed at this Pub in Dec 25 and the accommodation was booked and paid for weeks prior with a well known and reputable third party. Upon arrival it was questioned whether I had paid for the accommodation and I advised the lady that yes it was paid for already and I showed her the receipt. “Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok. A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners. ”

“Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!”

“The hotel was awful, dirty. Couldn't have dinner hotel to busy. Breakfast had to be pre ordered, then one breakfast was forgotten. Had to keep asking for items. The poached eggs were rock hard. The whole experience was a nightmare. Found cut dirty toe nails on the bed. cobwebs in the bedroom. Pool area was terrible. Hotel needs a complete refurb. Some photos couldn't be uploaded. ”
