When I first checked in and went to the room I was assigned, it was not the room I booked. I booked a room with a king bed and a pullout sofa bed. I wanted a spacious room plus a large enough bed to be able to toss and turn without pushing my boyfriend off the bed, so it had to be a king bed. The room I was given was a standard room with a queen bed. I went back to the hotel associate and explained this wasn't what I booked and definitely not what I paided for (I prepaid, the king bed w/sofa room was significantly more than a standard queen). I told him, don't care if it has the sofa bed or not but it has to be a king bed. Without issues he was able to switch my room to an even more spacious room. Bed was super comfortable, place was extremely clean and staff was friendly.

Room was clean, however the room I was given was missing the child safety latch on the door. I had my 4 year old with me so I requested another room. There is no elevator so if your on the second floor you have to take the stairs... Also, my key cards deactivated every day of my 3 day stay and I had to go to the front desk every night to get my keys turned back on, that was very annoying. But overall we had a decent stay. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and quiet and parking was easy. The breakfast in the morning was terrible but there's plenty of places close by for a cheap easy meal. Would stay here again.

The star rating on Expedia is why we thought we would try this hotel - it is not an accurate star rating. This hotel looked decent from the outside but once in the halls and in our room it was not worth the $. The halls smelled, the room was old with poor updates. The bathroom was gross. The room heater was broken so when trying to sleep it would make an awful noise that made it nearly impossible to sleep so we had to turn it off. There were dead bugs by the window which we noticed in the morning. The staff was rude and the continental breakfast was awful. Overall I would not recommend staying here if you have another option.

We are very happy with the hotel. It has obviously been refreshed but the refresh is very tasteful. The location has a lot of restaurants and services nearby. It is a pretty close drive to Watertown. Absolutely excellent value for money.
