“Great place to stay, but I'd recommend renting a car if staying at Bluebeard's. The hill is no joke, and nothing is as close a walk as it looks on Google maps. You can get pretty much anywhere on the island on 20 minutes, but be prepared from steep grades, hairpin turns, and skinny roads. “Check-in and check-out were super simple. Office staff communicates by text upon flight arrival and drops a pin for easy navigation. St John roads are an adventure all by themself, so the pin really helps. We stayed in Guave and the view was stunning. From the spacious balcony you can see all of BVI as well Coral Bay and the east end of St. John. The unit is very nicely decorated and in good shape. “This property has a stunning view of Red Hook and Vessup Bay, St John and other islands. The beds were comfortable; the kitchen has some dishes and cookware and a cooler that was very handy to take to the beach. You need a car with four wheel drive to get up the road to the property (road is steep and narrow). Close to the car ferry, and grocery stores, which is very convenient. We had a great time. ”

“The property was very nice, we had everything we needed. We appreciated that there were restaurants available if we didn’t choose to drive anywhere. The beach was beautiful and it was so convenient that there were lounge chairs available on the beach. ”
