First, let me begin with the staff- I want to give huge thank you’s to Micheal, Lennycia, Missy, Laenique and Cha-Niesha! Each of them were extraordinary in their service. The manager, Khadija went ABOVE AND BEYOND! She was amazing- informative and kind, with a quick smile and a genuine desire to ensure an excellent experience for all of her guests. Let me say again, the team was outstanding! There was only one person who was less than pleasant, Susan. She was not interested in helping, she did not smile and she did not make me feel welcomed. Fortunately, the positive disposition of those around her (the above mentioned team members) helped me to overlook her lack of enthusiasm and professionalism. Nonetheless, I would absolutely consider going back to this property.
The amenities are nice, the beach is lovely and the on property restaurant serves good food. The staff at the bar were NOT friendly, but the food was still good- especially the prawns and the ahi tuna and the shrimp tacos.
The room (dbl queen with balcony) was nice. My main complaint is that you can hear people in the neighboring rooms like they are in your own room. Also, lots of stairs and very hilly. This is probably true anywhere on the island, though. All in all it was a great stay- mostly due to Khadija and her team!
